I was very suprised with this compact because i wasnt sure how far i could go with only two colors but i was able to create the perfect smokey eye with the color Platinum. Im only 17 so the amount of sparkle was not too much for me but for someone more mature it might be too intense. I was impressed by the pigmentation also. I have tried other drugstore brand eyeshadows and the colors looked great in the pallate but didn't show up on my eyes!!! I was planning on trying a brown smokey eye so I hope all of the pallates have good pigmentation.

I LOVE THIS EYESHADOW!!!!! I've desperately wanted that shimmery eye look that is so popular right now so I buy new eyeshadow weekly looking for one that is just right and I've finally found it. The metallic gives more shimmer than a pearl and is not glittery. Goes on nice and easily, doesn't cake into creases, lasts all day, can layer on for a deeper bold color; simply LOVE it!! I really like the packaging too. It is a small round compact and the applicator brush is underneath on the bottom of the container. I mostly use a separate set of brushes so its nice to be able to hold it in one the palm of one hand without trying to keep the applicator from falling out.

I have very oily eyelids and this is the one shadow that lasts in color and application. I'm very happy with all of Loreal's products and have been a loyal fan for years. Great shadow!

let me just say that i love the gold color from this duo. it's probably my favorite eyeshadow color that i own. it is nicely pigmented and it is the perfect shade of gold in my opinion. it's not bronzy-gold and its not light/champagne gold, its just true gold. but the purple color is pretty bad. its a matte cool-toned purple eyeshadow (which i dont get cuz the gold i warm toned) and it is not pigmented and is awkward when blending

I love this dual eye shadow. It's perfect and these work so well to do smokey eyes also.
I also love how long this eye shadow lasts. I sometimes dont even use ey shadow primer cause I dont need it! :)

It's a great eyeshadow, highly liked it though when the eyeshadow came out a few years ago with the mirror inside the case. Wish they would bring it back. Overall a good product - have bought most of the shades in the past.

I bought this in "Gilded" because I've been trying to find the perfect shade of "Yellow gold" shadow. I was going to splurge and pay $25 for the Smashbox one. Thankfully, I stumbled upon a blog that said "Gilded" was a great dupe for Smashbox. Not only does this shadow looked better than the SB one, but it's more pigmented than I thought!
