Comments about Conair More Big Curls Hairsetter:

Think I have finally found a set of hot rollers that I will be keeping. I bought and returned 2 other sets within a week before getting these. LOVE that they come with the good old metal pins rather then the plastic clips so many come with now. (I could never get those plastic clips to hold well). I also love the size of the rollers, they create a nice wavy blow out look. Will be using these daily!!

Comments about Conair More Big Curls Hairsetter:

The products works well. Big curls and shiny hair. ONly con is that curlers get very hot and therefore can be a bit difficult to roll if your fingers are very heat sensitive.

Comments about Conair More Big Curls Hairsetter:

I really think this is a great set overall but two things put it over the top: it comes with the wire clips (rare these days - you can't even order them online at Conair anymore!) and the rollers do not have a split up the sides (to accomodate the heating unit). The wire clips are key if you want the rollers to stay rolled close to your scalp (those plastic claw clips might work for longer hair that's not rolled all the way to the head). The fact that the heating unit is a post up the center of the roller, and not a bar that splits the roller, means that the end of your hair doesn't get kinked in those open spaces. I'm buying a second set just in case Conair quits making this set (which I think is exclusive to Ulta).

Comments about Conair More Big Curls Hairsetter:

I've used these two times and am taking this set back to Ulta. They don't get hot enough to be effective. I have an old set of Conaire hot rollers so assumed this would be comparable, plu I liked the compact size of the unit. Takes awhile to heat up and even then the rollers aren't hot enough.

Returning them and buying a better set.

Love Conair products. I had just cut my hair and I needed bigger rollers for a softer curl, this were the perfect size but they did not get hot enough for my hair (thick, heavy hair). Had to return them.

I have always used hot rollers, and had great luck with them. I do not like these, however. They do not get hot enough (I think), and the rollers are too big. My hair has always held a curl well, but it does not with these. A curling iron works much better.

I had high hopes for this product but they fell short. The curlers literally did nothing to my hair. There were no where near enough for my whole head and I don't have a lot of hair. Also, the pins given to hold them in where useless and only six clips came with the curlers. I returned them.

The steam reservoir is included. The steam reservoir is a piece that can be placed in any of the spots that the curlers sit. In other words, you will have to remove one roller to place the steamer in the unit.

                            1. Place hairsetter on a firm, flat surface. With the lid closed, plug cord into outlet. This appliance
has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other). As a safety feature, this plug
will fit in a polarized outlet only one way. If the plug does not fit fully in the outlet, reverse
the plug. If it still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician. Do not attempt to defeat this
                            safety feature.
                            2. Once plugged in, the red light will go on. The rollers are ready to use when the red dot turns
transparent white (approximately 10–15 minutes). The rollers have each reached optimum
temperature and you can begin styling your hair. Please refer to “How to Curl Your Hair” for
                            further instruction.
                            3. Allow rollers to heat with lid closed, as this will provide the fastest, most efficient heat-up.
Once the rollers are hot, you can begin setting your hair. Allow rollers to heat longer for
tighter curls. Never leave your hairsetter on and unattended. Always unplug the hairsetter
when not in use. Allow the hairsetter to cool down after use, and store in a safe place.
                            4. Hair should be clean and dry or slightly damp – never wet when setting.

                            How To Curl Your Hair:
                            1. Place ends of hair on roller and wind toward the scalp. Roll up hair firmly, and secure clip,
crossing over roller. Do not place clip in roller slit.
                            2. The firmness of the curl is regulated by the temperature and the length of time the roller is
                            left in your hair.
                            3. For tight, firm curls, leave rollers in the hair for at least ten minutes before removing. For
soft, wavy curls, the rollers should be removed from the hair after a shorter period of time.
                            4. To remove roller hold roller in one hand while removing clip with the other. Gently drop roller (do not pull) and let curl bounce back after roller has been completely removed. Let cool for one minute for a firmly set curl, and then style your hair into a look that lasts for hours.
