Naturally, I have the worst nails; not only do they split in terms of layers, but they also break easily, are soft, and have never been very white at the tips. I had honestly given up trying to have nice nails and I'm not one for having fake nails either.

My hair stylist told me about this and swore so much on the product that she purchased my first bottle for me. It has been phenomenal experience and I've now been using this product for the last 3 years.

The product simply WORKS; there is no other way about it. It leaves my nails hard as a rock, with beautiful white tips, and a nice high-gloss finish. I am consistently asked if I get manicures and I just tell people to buy this product.

In addition to this, I have oily nail beds and this is one of the few nail products that have succeeded in sticking to my nails for a good amount of time without peeling or flaking off.

As for how frequent it needs to be used, there is no need to apply this product more than once a week, if even that. When applying, set aside some time to let your nails dry, the polish is a bit thick so it has a plastic-like feel when drying. However, considering the thickness, it still dries in a quick/average amount of time.

All in all, I don't believe it's possible to regret purchasing this product.

I purchased this product because I have dry, brittle nails....they break all the time. I used Nail Tek Protection Plus as a base coat, then applied 2 coats of color, then top coat.

My polish was chipping a day later! Never had this problem before....I use OPI nail polish. I can only assume that this product isn't good as a base coat. Nail Tek is only good by itself, which is a problem for me because I like to paint my nails all the time!

I will go back to the other tried and true product that works for me.

I have tried so many products to get my thin, brittle nails to stop breaking horizontally. This was recommended on many sites, but the first week, one of my nails broke horizontally.

It only adds layers to your nails, doesn't appear to moisturize, and peels off after 3 or 4 days.

This is good stuff so far as I have only been using for about 2 weeks. It seems to be working well for my peeling and sensitive nails.
