Comments about L'Oreal Frost and Design Kit:
I've used SO many highlighting kits & I've never had a bad experience, but this kit is by far the best. The color results were fabulous! I'm not sure if its because of the toner that is included, but I've definitely found my new go to highlighting kit.

Comments about L'Oreal Frost and Design Kit:
It gave me natural looking highlights if I was a raccoon. I have used other kits with success, but this expirience has been awful. I did a color patch test and it looked ok. I mixed the batch for my hair and ten minutes earlier than the test straind my hair was bleached white. Yayyyy I tried to cover up three white hairs and now I have 3000.So I am headed to the salon to see if it can be fixed, or shave my head.

Comments about L'Oreal Frost and Design Kit:
I am highly upset with this product. My daughters hair was always blonde and over the last year it got really dark. She started loosing her self-esteem badly and was really down in the dumps, so I said, hey lets do your hair! She was totally psyched! She obviously chose blonde, her hair is very long and is what some would consider as a dark blond or super light brown. We matched her hair color to the side of the box and decided it should turn out great! The first night we tried pulling her hair through the cap, it took so long just to get one side done, we ended up giving up and going to bed! Re-started the next day, having the same issues, pulling her hair out of the other holes and tangling it terribly! It was my worst experience with a cap ever! And it says great for long hair? Not! After many many hours of pulling and yanking her hair to get it through the holes, finally we were ready to color! We did everything as directions stated, even followed some tips on line etc. When it was all said and done, it was half gold and half bleach blond, spots all through her hair? alot of the strands were still the light brown color about 2 inches or 3 inches down the strand, others started up close to the roots. It turned out horrible. It completely ruined her hair. We are both more than disappointed and would NEVER recommend this product to a friend or even an enemy. I was very dissatisfied with the product and when it was all over, I took another look at the cap, and it appears the holes are not evenly spaced, we only pulled hair through the holes with circles around them, but when i started looking at the holes closely and the pattern, there was no pattern it was obviously a manufacturer defect. I think they need to be a lot more careful when manufacturing these caps, need to realize they are not only messing with someones hair colour, but with someones entire life! I cannot express enough how disappointed we are!!! Thanks for taking my daughters low self-esteem and burying it in the ground!
Comments about L'Oreal Frost and Design Kit:
I finally got up the nerve to highlight my hair after having spent ludicrous amounts of money getting it done at various salons--and never being happy with results; what a waste of money! I used the caramel color (I have very dark hair) and applied it with my fingertips in an ombre effect (about three inches below root). It came out beautiful. I received so many compliments on my hair. I'm heading out to the store now to get another box since the highlights have grown out--I'm so excited!

Comments about L'Oreal Frost and Design Kit:
I debated long and hard about using an at home product to highlight my hair, I was hoping to save some money as my stylist has gotten outrageously expensive. Thank God I followed directions and did a test strip! I purchased the Champange color (my hair is naturally light with cool high and low lights). The test strip turned out brassy orange blonde, what a nightmare! Not to mention, putting long hair through a cap pulls out a TON of hair! It does not create a natural looking highlight like a foil does, it's very jagged and doesn't cover near the root. Going to the salon tomorrow, I'd gladly pay 200.00 verses a 14.00 botched color job!

I give my daughter salon highlights for a fraction of the price. Some may not like the cap, but after using this product many times I have become really good at it.
