If you're peeling, or for some reason have dead skin built up on your face-this is the pad for you. I don't really know what the "anti-bacterial" is all about because my skin didn't look or feel different after use. However, it does scrub away dead skin, and flakes from the face without irritating or scratching the skin. Good for those with sensitive skin as well.

The anti-bacterial properties of this textured sponge are key...with daily use (in the shower)
I do not have to worry about the mildew smell from other sponges with out the anti-bacteria properties!
