Comments about Alpha Hydrox Foot & Problem Area Cream 12% Glycolic AHA:
I use this product nightly on my feet (previously so tough that normal moisturizers FAILED miserably), elbows (previously red and scaly), knees (never that bad but definitely better now, and the back of my thighs.
I expected this product to work on my feet, elbow, and knees, but what it did for my legs was AMAZING! I was inspired by a previous review's claim that it cured the "chicken skin" on her legs and gave it a try. Since I started shaving my legs (some 15 years ago) I have always had bumpy, irritated skin on the backs of my thighs. I've tried everything to get it to go away, but to no avail. With this moisturizer it was GONE in a week. I was shocked and converted. It's a small tube, and more expensive than I would like, but I will buy it forever.
Pros
- Absorbs Quickly
- Softens Skin
Cons
- Bad Smell
Best Uses
- Bedtime
- Deep Moisturization
- Dry/Chapped Skin
Comments about Alpha Hydrox Foot & Problem Area Cream 12% Glycolic AHA:
This product works great for callouses and rough spots on feet, but is a little too potent for daily use on elbows. Also, use it with white socks only, as the cream can bleach the dye out of fabrics, including sheets and the inside lining of shoes. With the necessary precautions, it is a fabulous product.

Comments about Alpha Hydrox Foot & Problem Area Cream 12% Glycolic AHA:
I bought Alpha-Hydrox because it was on sale and the glowing description on the box sounded great. But I have found that this product does not work as stated. There is nothing special about it at all. It is like a regular moisturizer, except it costs a lot more for a small tube. I have seen NO improvement in my skin at all. I honestly think that Alpha-Hydrox is no better than any cheap moisturizer available from one of the many discount stores. I am very very disappointed, and I will probably return the two tubes that I bought.

I have tried many products to try and help my dry, cracked heels. I used this after I shower and at bedtime and saw a difference right away. To get even faster results use a pumice first, then apply.

Comments about Alpha Hydrox Foot & Problem Area Cream 12% Glycolic AHA:
I've always suffered from chronically dry skin on my feet that lasts year-round but is much worse in winter. I've tried every kind of softening/moisturizing product on the market (including prescription) and nothing has worked as well as this. It's on the pricey side at around $10 for 2 oz. but you don't have to use a lot and it's cheaper (and a lot more comfortable) than getting pedicures.

- Absorbs Quickly
- Goes On Smoothly
- Long Lasting
- Softens Skin

Comments about Alpha Hydrox Foot & Problem Area Cream 12% Glycolic AHA:
I use a small amount daily on my feet and heels. Then I put shea butter on top of that to really moisturize them. I've been doing this now for close to a year and my heels and feet are softer and smoother. No more snagging hoisery.
