This system isn't cheap, but it's worth it! It cleared my skin right up. I would, however, have appreciated an included moisturizer.

Comments about Dermalogica MediBac Clearing Adult Acne Kit:

I never had a problem with acne until 3 years ago. I didn't know what to do so I used every drugstore product you can think of. I even tried home remedies to help make it go away and nothing worked. I went to ulta to give dermalogica a try BC my cousin suggested I try it. I met with one of ultas esteticians and she recommended dermalogica medibac kit. I've been using it as instructed and I am so pleased. Within 2 weeks I noticed my skin clearing up. I would highly recommend this product!!!

I gave this product two months but my skin actually got worse. I now have more acne than I did when I started and my skin is redder and more blotchy. I did better with cheaper drug store products like Aveeno.

I love the brand. Was using the clear start line from dermatologica and it was okay and when it ran out I got this line for adult acne. Works great! Break outs are almost down to zero. Skin feels great all day.

Comments about Dermalogica MediBac Clearing Adult Acne Kit:

I have struggled for the past several years with aging, sun-damaged, rosacea as well as acne-prone skin. A lot of products that help one of those conditions are detrimental to the other conditions. Recently I began oral chemo to suppress development of further cancerous breast lumps. Tamoxifen is an estrogen suppressant, but, since I am menopausal, it is causing my skin to become more oily due to the increase in androgens' effect, and the acne I had thought I had turned the corner on has come back with a vengeance. I am impressed with the way that the products in the kit work together to get a better balance in my skin. Zits that do flare up die down just as fast, due to the overnight clearing gel and mask. I really like the clearing mattifier too. Not a big fan of the "orangey" zit treatment/cover cream-- it would be nice if it came in a range of skin tones. I do like the sulfur content of it-- that seems most effective for my particular skin breakouts. I have used this for a few weeks now, and so far have found it to have improved appearance of my skin.

Comments about Dermalogica MediBac Clearing Adult Acne Kit:

I never review products but i read many before purchasing this kit because it was a little pricey for me. I tried the kit for about six weeks and had absolutely no improvement with my moderate adult acne. If anything i think my skin got worse and the breakouts seemed larger and more stubborn than normal. I read about the purge period and have since decided that i think that's just silly. If a product is helping your skin it will help. Immediately. Only a medication should be pushing out the impurities from within, a topical should not. I kept waiting and waiting to no avail. This product is way too expensive with no result. The mattifier seemed to break me out, the overnight gel seemed watery and in my experience a product that is helping will make your skin feel a little tingly or tight or different in some way. I switched to a clean and clear dee exfoliating wash and clearasil benzoyl peroxide cream and im already seeing results. Why did i wait so long?

Comments about Dermalogica MediBac Clearing Adult Acne Kit:

I've been using this product for 3 month now and it works for me. Yes, I was very skeptical of using this product because I was not sure if it would work on me. Before buying this product I was using Simple and Mario Badescu because I ran out of the different acne treatment that I was using before. Both of them made my acne worst. So I try Dermalogica and for the first week of using it I've seen good results. Yes, it may left me acne scars but that is only because I did not take good care of my face. I tend to get lazy and not wash it everyday. As far as the special cleansing gel that came in the package, it does dry my skin so I use only 3 times a week and on the other days I would use the clearing skin wash. To add on to that I would recommend using moisturizer.

I use this product twice a day, in the morning and before bed. Its taken about three weeks to show any improvement to my face and its still got a long way to go. I love the different options available in this kit. Although there's not a lot of product for the price. Overall, I'm satisfied.

My skin had broken out a bit more than usual. So, I went in for the face-mapping at Ulta. The skin specialist recommended the mediack system until my skin cleared up. I bought the travel kit, so that I could try all of the products first. It has been 3 weeks now and my skin just keeps getting worse (large, painful, under the skin, clogged pore pimples). My skin has not been this bad in ages. I was trying to use the products for at least a month, to give it a fighting chance, but after 3 weeks I just can't take anymore. I may try the sensitive skin line, because I do think dermalogica products are great. This just did not work for me at all. I'm seriously embarrassed to go out in public right now.
