I have oily, acne prone skin with cystic pimples and I have tried everything to improve it, even prescription meds. I started using a combo of different dermalogica products: resurfacing cleanser, clearing booster and this product , mostly. Have been using about 2-3 weeks and have seen a good improvement in my skin. I am still getting some cystic pimples but less than before. Mostly I have noticed that a lot of the old scars are fading. I am usually very aware to not leave the house without makeup, but the other day I went to put some on before went to the neighbors and it almost looked like I was wearing some makeup( granted the makeup I wear is lighter coverage). So overall I am impressed with the results. Have not found a cure for the acne but getting the dead skin cellsnoff and keeping them from clogging the pores is helping.

I use the product right after washing my face both morning and night before applying any creams and/or makeup. My clean looks clear and more refresh after 1 use.

I just started using this product last night. Not sure how it will work with regular use, but so far I am loving it. It is easy to use. Just apply to your face. Does not take much. Using too much won't make it more or less effective. Best to just use a pea sized amount. You can feel it once it is on the skin. It does not hurt. Just a little tingle. I like the tingle. It lets me know it is actually doing something. I leave it on a few minutes. Then when I look at my face in the mirror, it is brighter. No dead skin cell accumulation. No flakes, that make makeup application a pain. I think that this would work on all skin types. I have oilier skin, get breakouts. My skin is clear today, so no immediate issues from using. I do think this may be a little much with daily use on sensitive skin. I suggest, if sensitive, start with every three nights for a few uses. Move up to every other night, for a few uses. Then every night. If you develop any sensitivities throughout, then you know to slow usage. I think the ultimate question is, would I buy it/would I buy it again? yes.

I'm 39 years old and my laugh lines are becoming a little more apparent. Had been trying different products and this one finally did the trick! I also have acne-prone skin and this didn't exaserbate it. Dermalogica has been a part of my skin regimine for years. I really like this product but it is not for every day use, it left my skin peeling after a week of every day use. I scaled back to every third day and it seems to be doing a nice job of exfoliating without drying out my skin.

I use this product in the evening after I cleanse my skin. In my 30s I used Proactive, but found it to be too abrasive and stripping. I've been looking for a gentle exfoliate with all the right ingredients and I think I've found it!
