It has vents to be able to use when your hair is still damp and it's pretty easy for this hair-challenged individual to make ringlets or looser curls as well as to style a long side bang. Works great for my mildly frizzy, oddly wavy, baby fine and thin, medium-long hair.

The larger barrel for curling is a must! I use on my extenstions and it provides LARGE CURLS! That I run my fingers through to get the "Big Texas Hair" but with a soft-wave look! So I'm enjoying to say the least!!

I was honestly skeptical when I chose this curling iron because I usually like Remington hair curlers but, I needed one and I did not want the ones that you wrap your hair around (which is pretty much all that is on the shelves these days) then I found this Conair REGULAR curling iron. In the past I have been extremely disappointed with previous Conair curling irons but, this breaks the mold!! It heats up in less than a minute, it grabs all the hair you need it to, my hair is naturally straight and has trouble holding curls but with the this curling iron my hair is still curled after a long day even after a nights sleep, and the heat goes up to 400 degrees!! I'm a fan.

Very good product for the money. I am not thrilled with the button controls on the wand. they are recessed and could be made a little better, but the curling iron does a good job of heating up quickly and giving my straight hair some curl and volume.

I was pleasantly surprised at how quick this curling iron heat up and how smooth it made my frizzy hair look. AND IT'S PINK! :)

Hair doesn't glide through the barrel very well. Doesn't hold curl. Not impressed. I will return it and pay the extra to get something that does the job.

My hair was starting to get a little yellowish from flat iron use even with a heat protector cream, so I needed something with multiple heat settings and a larger barrel. It has more than met my expectations especially since it has a nice price, infact I am liking this curling iron better than my pricey flat iron. I don't feel as if I am over working my hair to get it how I want and I am using a middle heat setting, I am actually getting my hair done quicker now. My only complaint is the cool tip is not long enough and even though I am trying to be careful I have singed my finger/thumb 4 times when grabbing the end to pull thru.
