I got this because I wanted a brush with a tapered end. My original choice was out in store so I got this. I loved it when I first used it but when I was cleaning it, it lost the shaped from the tip. That was the main reason I bought it. I'm definitely getting my first choice but I'm going to get my money worth or give it away.

This brush is a must have for easy to define eyes for the crease. It is idiot-proof! This was my first brush I bought when learning how to apply eye makeup and it really works. I also use it to deposit an all over color wash to my lids or deeper color to the entire lid. The long handles are also a plus.I now have two of these, and the first one is still in good shape after seven years. Smashbox makes great brushes for the price.

I use this brush to contour shadow in the lid crease, and it makes application so easy! The shadow goes where it needs to, and there aren't any uneven spots like I used to get with a less dense contour brush.
