I bought this product despite its general negative reviews. The common complaint seems to be it's overall messiness starting with the opening of the jar. I had little to no problem because I used a paper towel to take it off. Heating the wax took a little longer to heat then listed, but that was expected and no problem. Applying the wax thin worked great and removing was nearly painless. Occasionally the strip would miss a hair or two, but otherwise grasped all the hairs. My main complaint would be the lack of strips/left over wax residue/not enough oil. You get what seems to be plenty, yet I still ran out. Removing the leftover wax was tedious (what do you expect, you're waxing) but worked fine with baby oil. So when buying this product make sure to buy extra strips and baby oil so you don't end up with one and a half waxed legs with wax residue on them. A good reminder is being aware of the direction of your leg hair and applying the wax in the direction of your hair, and when removing the strip to go against the growth. It was more difficult in those areas that didn't abide by the usual growth direction, and not obeying that technique results in little to no hair removal, so keep that in mind ya'll.

The total experience of this product was horrible! As soon as you open the jar it's a complete chaotic mess of wax which I could have dealt with if this product worked! The amount of time spent between attempting to remove a minimal amount of hair is bad on it's own but the removal of the leftover wax was 10X worse. I will not finish using this jar and definitely will not be purchasing,if any SH hair removal products, again.

I recommend this product if you have some time and don't mind getting a little messy. This was my first time using the wax as opposed to the pre-waxed strips and this is way more cost effective but it'll take a bit until I'm good at it. Tips would be to make sure you heat the wax up enough (I had to microwave for twice the recommended amount) and to make sure to use a thin layer because I noticed it was a lot more effective when you do that.

I searched online about this product after I bought it and I decided to try it, even thought the reviews were really bad. The wax is supposed to be ''extra-strong'', but it misses hair very often. I had no problems with the wax coming of, but the major problem I had is that this was hurt and bruised my legs really bad... It left several red spots that still hurt after done waxing and also 'under skin' blood. Not going to buy it again!

I've been a loyal user of this product for the past 6-7 years. I've waxed my entire life and this product used to be the best overall wax I had ever used. In the last few months, however, something has changed. When I apply the wax and I proceed to remove the hair with the cloth strip, the wax and the hair remain. I used to be able to do my entire body with this product in about 40 minutes and I'd still have more than half a jar left over for future use. Now I spend 40 minutes trying to do one leg and I waste nearly the entire jar and all of the cloth strips. I just want my favorite wax back. Can you please fix it?

Tried in bikini area, not only did it cause painful blood blisters and terrible bruising but the wax was impossible to remove! Would not recommend this particular product.

I bought this because I have thick, hard to remove hair. Not only did this not remove the hair as it said, it couldn't even remove the wax. I read through the directions twice before even starting, heated the wax accordingly, applied to the appropriate hair length, followed all steps....and voila, 95% of the wax was still on my skin. I spent more time trying to get the wax off than any other step in the process. That tiny bottle of Azulene oil is practically gone just trying to deal with the chaos. This stuff is literally a hot mess.

I read the booklet included thoroughly before using the product. It removed very little hair and hair left behind was very sticky. I even tried to wax hair that remained behind. The bottom line is this product does not work, I have 18 strips, 7 natural wooden sticks, and a whole jar of wax. I will never use this product again. I might even try to avoid the brand all together.
