AHA/BHA Exfoliating Cleanser is an intensive cleanser with a trio of exfoliating acids and Jojoba skin-polishing beads to reveal younger-looking complexion. AHA/BHA Exfoliating Cleanser gently exfoliates and polishes away dullness and excess cellular debris. Three exfoliating agents - Salicylic Acid, Lactic Acid, and Glycolic Acid reveal younger looking skin by loosening dulling buildup on skin's surface. Jojoba Beads polish away debris, dryness, and roughness while Sodium PCA attracts water to the skin's surface to help it retain moisture and elasticity needed to function as a strong, healthy barrier.

AHA/BHA Exfoliating Cleanser is recommended for use 2-3 times a week as the Step 1 cleanser in any Murad Age Reform regimen. It is formulated to reveal youthful skin as part of Dr. Murad's Inclusive Health system of care.

Dermatologist developed. Tested on people, not animals. Formulated without phthalates.

Massage a small amount over dampened face and neck. Rinse with warm water and pat dry. Follow with a Murad Step 2 treatment. Use 2-3 times a week.

Precautions: For external use only. Do not use around the eye area. If contact occurs, rinse thoroughly with water. Keep out of reach of children.
Water (Aqua), Sodium Laureth Sulfate, Cocamidopropyl Betaine, Jojoba Esters, Acrylates Copolymer, Glycol Stearate, Butylene Glycol, Sodium PCA, Dipotassium Glycyrrhizate, Sodium Ascorbyl Phosphate, Glycolic Acid, Lactic Acid, Salicylic Acid, Polyquaternium-4, Sodium Hydroxide, Sodium Chloride, Citric Acid, Disodium EDTA, Phenoxyethanol, Methylparaben, Propylparaben.

just okay cleanser

Comments about Murad Age Reform AHA/BHA Exfoliating Cleanser:

I am not overly impressed by this product especially for the price point. I am already using aha and bha creams in my skincare routine so I figured this would be an extra boost. the cleanser is creamy but I do wish the jojoba beads would break down while you're cleansing. I haven't noticed a difference in my complexion and am just using it up now before moving on. my complexion type is acne prone with consistent acne.

Comments about Murad Age Reform AHA/BHA Exfoliating Cleanser:

I was really skeptical about spending so much money on a mere face soap. Read reviews and comments about how it was useful with acne prone skin. It smelled really good and I liked the way it felt while I was washing my face. Exfoliation without being as harsh as Apricot Scrub. However, it didn't really seem to clean my face. And the acne is still there. I have to use it every other day, because it makes my face look flushed/red. It's like I'm constantly blushing. Honestly, I feel like I wasted my money.

Comments about Murad Age Reform AHA/BHA Exfoliating Cleanser:

I've used Murad 3 steps for 2 years-the age reform line is gentle and when I added the exfoliating cleanser (I use it twice/wk) my skin seems to respond better to the other two steps afterward. I hadn't been exfoliating at all and I think it really makes a difference. The other days of the week I use the Murad Age Reform daily cleanser. I really love this line for my skin.

Love this product! Before using this, my skin would break out from any other cleanser. But this product seems to be different than the rest. It is lightweight and feels good when going on your skin. It cleans and gets rid of all of the dry skin especially around my nose which is my problem area. I have not had a break out once in my face glows the day after I use this product. Highly recommend it!

                      A:

Because of the combination of Saliclyic, Lactic and Glycolic Acids AHA/BHA Exfoliating Cleanser is the best choice.

                      A:

Yes, this would help with that because you are helping the skin to shed those layers. Using this product 1-3 times a week will help to speed up the cell turnover and help to prevent this congestion in the skin.

                      A:

Percentage alone does not determine the strength of the product, Murad follows the industry guidelines up to 10% with a Ph of 3.5. This ensures that it's safe while being effective.

Has anyone used this product to treat keratosis pilaris [little bumps on arms] & did it work?

                      A:

Products containing alpha-hydroxy acids can be very beneficial to someone who has keratosis pilaris. They can help to loosen and remove dead skin cells while softening the skin. It is important to use AHA/BHA Exfoliating Cleanser gently on the affected areas and to not over scrub. Blot skin dry with a towel so some moisture remains on the skin and be sure to follow up with a moisturizer while skin is damp.

It is always best to consult with your doctor to determine the right treatment for you. It is not recommended for children who have keratosis pilaris.

Will this product especially work to unclog and prevent blackheads? If there is a better product that would serve that purpose, I am open to suggestions.

                      A:

Absolutely! The Salicylic, Lactic and Glycolic Acids within its formula help to unclog pores to prevent blackheads and breakouts.
