The rollers heat up quickly and I like the claw clips that hold the curlers in place. They don't fall out even if your moving around.

This is a wonderful product in a number of ways; heats up quickly, long lasting curls, hair is bouncy and shiny. But the clips make me crazy. They are hard to secure and fall out if i move my head the slightest bit.

Comments about Conair Ion Shine Instant Heat Hair Setter:
I have a great curl to my hair, not super-curly, but adequate. The problem is that it doesn't curl the direction I'd like for it to, so I have to utilize tools. These rollers were very difficult to get into my hair, and the clips definitely didn't hold them. Not to mention you can only heat 3 clips at a time and must store the rest 'somewhere' else. I purchased the Conair clips separately, and they were pretty good at holding the rollers in place. When I removed them, my hair was so frizzy! I have tried on 3 different occasions, leaving the rollers in for longer/shorter times, with the same results. I've used hot rollers almost my entire life and never had this result, so these will be returned.

Comments about Conair Ion Shine Instant Heat Hair Setter:
I have longer hair (6" below my shoulders), somewhat layered - I had to do my hair twice just to get an equal affect. This is not time saving nor was the look I hoped to achieve there. I was looking for a better method than the curling iron - this did not do the job.

Comments about Conair Ion Shine Instant Heat Hair Setter:
I have never used any hot rollers before, these were my first. I love them! they were so easy too use! Took hardly any time at all to do all of my super long and thick hair! I was a little afraid at first that my hair would not all fit in the 20 rollers but it did! Once I was done putting them all in I could start taking the first ones out. I would wear gloves next time I use these though, my fingers did get burnt, but that's the only downside!

Comments about Conair Ion Shine Instant Heat Hair Setter:
I bought these to do up my hair for my wedding and I've found myself using them on a regular basis! I work super early in the morning and normally don't care about how my hair looks, but this made doing my hair surprisingly easy! They heat up super quick, and I like the big heated clips. This really gives my thin limp hair great curl and volume!

Comments about Conair Ion Shine Instant Heat Hair Setter:
These hot rollers are not the absolute best I've ever used, but for such an affordable price, I don't think they're bad. The rollers heat up quickly and create nice curls. The clips, however, are horrible and do not hold your rollers in place. I would recommend purchasing a different type of clips. If you're curling your hair for small events, dinners, or everyday use, these rollers are a good option.

Cons
- Bulky

- Snags hair

Comments about Conair Ion Shine Instant Heat Hair Setter:
The clips provided make indentations in your hair. The size of all the rollers would probably work best on long hair. I have hair that is past my shoulders. When using this product I found my hair snagged on the inside of the roller, burned my fingers a bit, created indentations where the clips where placed and gave more of a frizzy curl rather than a smooth curl /wave than a curling iron would. I will continue to spend more time using a curling iron before I consider purchasing a different hot roller set.
