Before purchasing this product, I had tried baking soda, vinegar and lemon mixes, and nothing worked. I was iffy on purchasing it though, because I was hoping to find an yellow-ridding oil or scrub instead of another polish.

This product can be used as a base coat, and a top coat. I wear a lot of light pinks and I do my own french manicures, and this product used as both a base coat and a top coat is a friggin' life-saver.

When you first apply it, the yellow does not go away instantly. HOWEVER, I noticed that within about 2-3 hours, the yellow stains under my pink & white french manicure where completely gone.

This product has a VERY light purple tone to it. You can barely notice it, and it leaves your nails with a beautiful, natural, fleshy-pink color.

After removing and re-doing my manicures, I noticed this product doesn't just mask the yellow on my nails- it really gets down in there and takes out the stains completely.

I love that I can wear light pinks, nudes, and clear nail polish again without having to worry about ugly yellow nails.

DEFINITELY works for slightly yellow nails. From using nailpolishes etc my nails were left with slight yellow tone and this polish immediately neutralizes it which is wonderful. I'm not sure how it would do for very yellow nails but for at least subtle yellow it definitely works. I feel that there is a very subtle purple tone but it just looks like i'm slightly cold! It is MUCH better than slightly yellow

This product is the only one that I have found that actually works. I've used a lot of other UV blocking clear coats (up to $25) and this is by far a better buy.
