I am obsessed! To start, I have thick and course hair, especially from shaving all these years. Brazilians were getting too pricey and I wanted to not worry about shaving underarms so much. For my first time, this stuff worked GREAT! Typical at-home beginner issues - keeping wax hot enough, manuevering the sticks/wax in the right direction, keeping strips on long enough, etc. Only 4 stars because not every single hair came off the first time, but that could be user issues. I can't complain at all!

I don't normally write reviews, and I have also never used an at-home waxing/sugaring kit before, but i have to say I am very impressed with this product! I used this on my bikini line (and my legs but it was taking too long so i gave in and shaved!) It didn't take long for me to figure out the best way to get out the most amount of hair with one rip. I don't have a very high pain tolerance, so yes, this was painful, but it was tolerable.

I got my first bikini wax probably 10 years ago right before a vacation, and all i remember is that it was very painful and i was left with red bumps for my whole vacation. I have had no bumps with this product. I do have some slight bruising in areas where i had to go over more than once, but the pain afterwards is minimal and fades away after about an hour.

The biggest con is probably that it is messy, but it washes off super easily!

Overall, i love this product! I have already recommended it to my mom and a friend!

Love it! I am a blond with baby fine peach fuzz on my upper lip and between my brows. Traditional wax stings and irritate my skin. This stuff is great. You barely need to heat it (I get it just above room temp because my skin is so sensitive). The strips are awkwardly long & have to be cut for smaller area, but are washable and reusable. It does not get every little hair, but I am okay with that because they are blond and who notices one or two little hairs? I assume it is because they are too short for the stuff to grab. I have used waxes that do get every hair and they take off skin too! I'd rather use this!!! I do wash my face before with Philosophy Purity and again after and then use both the blue oil included and Mario Badescu Aloe lotion. I would highly suggest using the most gentle products when you use this. To avoid grown hairs I exfoliate with one of those plastic face scrubbies 2 days later.

This is the best stuff! A bit messy, but what wax isn't. I've used the stips but those HURT. Just don't over heat this stuff (if you do just have patience and let it cool) or it will burn you. Other than that, once you get a good temp, it's a quick wax! Gets all the hair quite easily, and without pain! The minimal amount of residue rinses off with a warm washcloth! As a bonus it even comes with an oil to calm down your pink skin!

I used Parissa on my face, with very nice results. I 'sugared' around 3:30pm, and I had a very special date planned for that evening so I was worried about possible breakouts or being 'red'. My worries were unfounded. Parissa got all the hair and I looked great.

The product heated up quickly and I like that it washes off with water but I did have a small breakout but not certain if it was due to the product or just my skin issue. I will try the product again as it is easy to use and will see if it is the cause of a breakout.
