Comments about Revlon Cuticle Trimmer:
I have had several other cuticle trimmers. This one has the sturdiest design but the least actual utility. I'm not sure if I just have deep beds but this cuticle remover doesn't remove my dry cuticles and if I push hard enough for the edge to even come in contact with my cuticle, it cuts too deep.

I always cut my cuticles. I kind of obsess over it. I've used cheaper brands that work better, but it still cuts.

Comments about Revlon Cuticle Trimmer:
This just plain does not work. I may as well have rubbed a spoon on my cuticle for all it did. Needs more of a degree of angle on it and some sharpness.

Comments about Revlon Cuticle Trimmer:
The concept behind this cuticle trimmer is ideal for its intended use. One end is formed to push grown cuticle back to be trimmed, the other end used to glide around nail bed to remove excess. The plastic is sturdy, so durability is not an issue. I did, however, expect a little bit more from the product due to the price. My previous trimmer was destroyed - chewed, more like it. Unlike my previous trimmer, this one is not so precise. The trimmer isn't dull, which you would expect from that statement. I would have like the metal trim end to be a little more sharply angled at its point. This one doesn't remove all excess cuticle. It removes the majority but still requires extra passes, which made me add more pressure in order to get a closer trim against the nail. Finally I had to be left satisfied with what remained. I would have liked to see more precision in one pass. It does come with a clear cover to protect the trimmer when not in use. Also, I appreciate the opposite end being shaped into a cuticle pusher. That's convenient but, once again, it isn't as effective as other products. It is plastic after all and doesn't do the job like other cuticle pushers created from other materials like metal, wood, or durable cushions. In the end, I'd rather spend this kind of money on each of the two separate features this product embodies if it means the job is done right. If you're going to give yourself a manicure at home, you don't want it to look like you did it at home, if you know what I mean.

Comments about Revlon Cuticle Trimmer:
This tool is perfect to keep the nails trimmed up and nearly "hangnail-free". I let my boyfriend use it once for a hangnail, and couldn't get it away from him until he had trimmed all of his cuticles. He is a tough, rough guy, but this tool helped trim his nails clean. Had to buy one of his own.

Comments about Revlon Cuticle Trimmer:
I love the design of this product! It really helps to trim cuticles easily. However, it is only easy to use when it is very sharp. When the blade gets dull, it cuts into the skin and leaves nicks. It is also better to use a cuticle cream or salve before using this tool. It cuts much easier without nicking you when cuticles are moisturized. Dried out cuticles will also cause some discomfort while using this tool. When cuticles are soft and the blade is sharp, this thing works like a dream! Good product for the money. I just wish there was some way to sharpen the blade when needed.
