the blades were dull, the spring action in the unit was almost non existent. I have always used this brand of nail care, over 40 yrs. I was very unhappy with this nail clipper. may give this brand another chance, just not this particular style. Maybe, these clippers were just a bad unit.

just didn't make a clean sharp cut, and appreared to be dull right out of the package. It wasn't at all what I have purchased before.

I found a three-year-old pair of toe nail clippers in the bottom of my nail bag that did a better job. They were flimsy, and unable to cut at all. My 12-year-old daughter couldn't even get them to cut through her thinner toe nails. Do not buy.

I was suprised to have a Revlon product that was of poor quality. I typically buy off brand nail clippers and have always been happy with them, but decided to get the Revlon Nail clippers. The cut is a poor one and leaves the nails jagged.

I've learned not to scrimp on quality when it comes to things like nail tools and tweezers. Worth the price. I'm a runner and this clipper takes care of a multitude of sins borne of long runs and a lot of time on my feet :) I use it on my fingernails too, but I have short nails and don't mind using such a big clipper, but YMMV for fingernails. I wipe it down with isopropyl alcohol after use to keep it sanitary.
