I think it works great as a base coat... but I prefer using something else as a top coat. This product takes too long to dry as a top coat, and when I applied it on one of my hands and not the other (out of forgetfulness), I didn't see any difference at all! It didn't look any different, and the nailpolishes on both my hands started chipping at roughly the same time.
I don't know if I would buy it again for even just a base coat application since I bought it under the premise that I could use it as both a top and base coat, and ended up having to purchase a separate top coat anyway.

I have always found that Sally Hansen products are extremely reliable. I have never found any that disappointed me.

I can live without this product. Not want I expecting. As not needed. Too soft.

This product promises to be chip resistant, but I experienced chipped nails the very next day after applying. I do not recommend nor intend to ever buy this product again.
