This is the best to use with liquid foundation. I prefer this sponge for liquid foundation application to all other applicators. It goes on the most even and is soft on the skin.

I've bought these sponges in the past when I wanted to replace the ones that came with powder/foundation. However, this time, I noticed that they have a slight odor to them so I'm not sure I would buy them again for that reason.
If I look just at their functionality alone, they are a decent product.

It is hard to find these sponges in regular stores. I really like these sponges and the wedge sponges by Cover Girl. They last a long time and they don't fall apart easily. Also they are not expensive.
