An ultra-rich phytonutrient moisturizer designed to combat dry skin. Stabilized Vitamin C helps to smooth the appearance of dry lines and skin damage, leaving skin soft and supple. Antioxidant enzyme Superoxide Dismutase, vitamins A and E, and Ginkgo help shield against damage caused by environmental assaults. Soothing Coneflower and Hydrocotyl, combined with extracts of Grape Seed and Wild Yam, help reduce the signs of prematurely-aging skin, leaving it smooth and firmer-looking. Contains no artificial fragrance or color.

How it works:
  • Vitamin A helps smooth the appearance of fine lines
  • Vitamins C and E, with Ginkgo Biloba, help prevent daily damage caused by free radicals.
  • Coneflower and Hydrocotyl, combined with botanical extracts of Grape Seed and Wild Yam, help repair prematurely-aging skin.

We recommend that first-time Dermalogica users visit an authorized skin treatment professional for a client consultation in an ULTA store.

Comments about Dermalogica Intensive Moisture Balance:

I had very dry skin that would always flake on me no matter what I used. I also had an allergic reaction to a face mask that left me with flaky and patchy skin that was so dry it started to peel and I got a facial and the dermatologist gave me a sample of this. In one night the flakiness and dryness went away. I bought the full size and my skin hasn't returned to being as dry and it always was. I use it every morning and night. It sits well with all of my makeup and any other serums or oils I decide to use at night. It saved my dry skin!

                        A:

Thank you for your inquiry. This is a heavy weight moisturizer for chronically dry skin. A better choice for your skin would be Oil Control Lotion. It is a light weight, oil absorbing moisturizer. You may add MAP-15 to this moisturizer to add anti aging benefits. MAP-15 is an oil free light weight vitamin C concentrate to help firm and tighten skin while preventing free radical damage.

I am using another brand of retinol cream and want to start using yours because it is easier to find. The brand I am currently using makes my skin flakey and I was wondering what moisturizer would I choose to go with your retinol.

Thank you for your inquiry. We recommend using Dynamic Skin Recovery SPF50 as a moisturizer during the day while using Overnight Retinol Repair. If you require more moisture while the Overnight Retinol Repair is on your skin you may use the buffer cream that comes with it to add hydration. Please note that anything added to your skin while this product is on will lessen the strength.
