This non-irritating, naturally-foaming cleanser is the perfect start to around-the-clock control of breakouts, comedones and excess surface oils. Salicylic Acid sloughs off dead skin cells to clear clogged follicles, helping to prevent future breakout activity. Soothing, naturally-antiseptic extracts of Balm Mint, Eucalyptus, Tea Tree, Burdock and Camphor calm congested, aggravated skin. Skin is left clean and prepped for optimal absorption of acne control treatment ingredients. Contains no artificial fragrance or color.
how it works:
- Naturally-foaming cleanser clears away excess oil without stripping skin.
- Salicylic Acid aids in clearing congested follicles and soothing irritation.
- An anti-acne blend of botanical extracts including Licorice, Calendula, Milk Thistle, Lemon Peel, Arnica and Bergamot works with Salicylic Acid to help prevent future breakouts.
- Tea Tree, Burdock, Eucalyptus, Golden Seal and
- Chamomile help eliminate bacteria.
- Camphor and Menthol cool inflammation.

I'd been on birth control pills for well over 13 years and started to get migraines because of them. I figured perhaps it was time to stop. About 4 months after I quit taking birth control, I started to break out. First on my neck, then along my hairline, then the sides of my forehead and chin. Not all at the same time, mind you, but it was frustrating to feel like a teenager at the age of 36. This went on for 4-5 more months until I bought the Dermalogica Cleansing Wash and Overnight Clearing Gel. They helped at first, but then I started to break out again. After some research, I learned this is expected when a product is drawing out impurities. There's a great video on Youtube where a young woman explains why this happens, but we can't post URLs in reviews. After 3 weeks of using these Dermalogica products, I decided to add the Daily Microfoliant, Sebum Masque and a salicylic acid spot clearing Dermalogica product that I can't seem to find online (it's not the concealing spot treatment ... it's clear, not tinted). Anyhow, within 3 days of adding these products to my regimen, my blemishes showed dramatic improvement from the "plateau" I felt my skin had reached over the 3 weeks I was using Dermalogica. It was like the products I added were the missing pieces of my skincare puzzle. If you can't buy them all, I would highly recommend the clearing wash, the overnight treatment and the microfoliant.

A MUST BUY!!! I HAVE BEEN SUFFERING WITH ACNE SINCE THE AGE OF 12 AND I AM NOW 25. I HAVE USED JUST ABOUT EVERYTHING!!! THIS PRODUCT IS EXCELLENT!! MY ACNE IS GONE, PORES ARE SMALLER, BLACKHEADS ARE ALMOST COMPLETELY GONE! THE ONLY DOWNSIDE IS THAT MY SKIN IS A BIT RED AND DRY BUT IM LOOKING TO GET A GOOD MOSTURIZER TO FIX THAT. I SUGGEST ANYONE WITH ACNE AT LEAST GIVE IT A TRY BECAUSE FOR A LONG TIME I WAS SKEPTICAL, NOW I WISH I WOULD HAVE GOTTEN THIS ALONG TIME AGO

I have used this product along with the other accompanying products in the line. I have terrible adult acne and after 30 days I have notice a huge difference in the texture of my skin. I do not have as many breakouts and when I do they are not as severe. I will continue to use this product and hope that my skin will continue to get even better!
