Comments about John Frieda Frizz Ease Extra Strength Hair Serum:

Oh my! I searched all day for products that could help fight humidity in black hair. I have a relaxer and lots of new growth. Since I have highlights, I'm transitioning from relaxers. The humidity in North Carolina was giving me second thoughts. After looking at the reviews for different products, this one was top rated by hundreds at 95% or more. I checked multiple websites to verify. So I ran out to ulta with a baseball cap covering my head and immediately grabbed this product. I came home and washed, then conditioned and then added three pumps of product to my wet strands and slowly detangled. I then blow dried by hand and straightened/curled with a 1 1/4 barrel hot curler. Then I added 1 pump of product to my finger tips and palms and slowly smoothed my edges and over flyaway strands. I HATE grease or heavy products. This product is not heavy, not greasy, protects from overheating and helps fight the humidity. My hair looks freshly flat ironed or freshly relaxed. Great product. I'm buying more for my friends and my 10 year old niece. All black mothers know the struggle of paying top dollar for a child's hair styling to see your dollars puff away in Deep South humidity. After my next salon visit, I'll use this serum to help last the full week. I see that John Frieda has very affordable anti frizz shampoo and conditioners. I'll be back at ulta this week to make gift baskets for my friends. I took several before and after photos of each step of my hair styling today. All my friends now want this product. Thank you John Frieda!!!!!

I've only used this product a few times so far but I'm pretty excited to keep using it! I put it in my hair right after I get out of the shower. Now make sure not to get it too close to your roots and don't over use (I did both the first time and it made my roots somewhat oily, nothing some dry shampoo couldn't fix).
It definitely relaxed my curls and even added some volume!

            I have very wavy hair.
            It took away the frizz.
But it also took the volume from my waves.
Maybe I shouldn't have gone with the "extra strength."

Amazing product to tame frizz pre blow dry. Not too heavy, smells great and works to soften even coarse hair. Just a nickel size amount is enough for the long hair. I still towel dry my hair and the apply and blow dry and it works magic in a bottle. Couldn't love it more. Prefect for touch ups too in between washes.

Comments about John Frieda Frizz Ease Extra Strength Hair Serum:

I've been using Frizz Ease for years and I love it. I have thick, curly/frizzy hair that I chemically straighten at a salon 3 times a year. My regular maintenance routine includes using a blow dryer and flat iron (minimum of once a week) and then flat iron touch ups (daily). All that heat damages hair quickly, but Frizz Ease helps protect my hair. I highly recommend it!

Comments about John Frieda Frizz Ease Extra Strength Hair Serum:

I actually use the regular strength version of this, but I can't seem to find it online. I LOVE this. I am able to air-dry my hair without it turning into a frizzy mess. My hair routine has completely changed thanks to this. I would normally have to blow dry and straighten immediately to keep frizz down (and I even have straight hair naturally!) Now I squeeze a dollop of this (maybe dime size) and run my fingers through the bottom 3/4 of my hair. Definitely ignore the roots, or your hair will be greasy. This is perfect for air drying hair because it dries completely without any frizziness. I can't emphasize how great this stuff is!!

The product works. All you have to do is follow simple directions, feel free to put a plastic cap over your hair and sit under the dryer for about five minutes to ensure it absorbs better in really dry hair.
