Comments about Amazing Cosmetics Velvet Mineral Powder Foundation:
I really like this product. I have not tried it without Smashbox BB cream, so I am not sure which is the better product. However, when used together, I have been extremely happy. Coverage is not powdery looking but natural. That is coming from what my husband said when I told him I got a new foundation. The color is perfect for me. I am extremely pale with pink undertones and some freckles and I have a horrific time matching but this was great. It lasts a long time too, which is nice!

Comments about Amazing Cosmetics Velvet Mineral Powder Foundation:
This is not any better or worse than the most populare mineral makeup (I have used both). I have VERY oily skin and have yet to find really anything that works well for me. I am sure this works great for normal skin. I still prefer mineral makeup of heavy liquid!

Comments about Amazing Cosmetics Velvet Mineral Powder Foundation:
I've used this foundation for over three years now. I've tried a couple of others in between and keep coming back to this. It covers redness and blemishes well. My skin becomes oily over the course of a day so I use DermaDoctor TeaseZone mattifying gel over moisturizer before applying the foundation. This is the lightest mineral foundation I've found - others settle into lines and look like I have a dirty face before the end of my work day. The color is also a better match than other mineral foundations.

Comments about Amazing Cosmetics Velvet Mineral Powder Foundation:
I love the finish of this foundation. As long as you use a clean brush, it doesn't look like make-up, it just looks like you have glowy, silky skin, which is the most important thing about foundation for me. It even tones down the redness of breakouts without caking them over. It can get cakey over time if you forget to wash your brush regularly, but I find that to be true with all powder/mineral based foundations. I have fair olive skin ,which can be difficult to match (Shiseido O20 or Vincent Longo, which have more yellow based shades have been the best matches for me so far), and this is the best match I have found in a mineral foundation. If you travel with it, it does get messy, but again, so do most loose powder type foundations. Sometimes it doesn't last all day, but I do have pretty oily skin that doesn't hold makeup well in general. It loses points because it costs mucho dinero and because it contains carcinogenic parabens, but it is still more natural than what I was using previously, so for now I am going to stick with it.
