Cetaphil cream with a delicious smell.

That about sums it up for me. This lotion is moisturizing but in an almost watery way, it lacks essential oils (at least it feels like it does) that give your skin that moisturized look. No dewiness or sheen here, you apply it and it disappears, almost like you didn't apply anything at all. For some that might work but I like that dewy, almost glossy moisturized look on my legs so I contemplated adding some pure Shea and Argan oil to it to make it work better......but then I considered the price. I shouldn't have to do that at this price point. If this was some grocery store brand I would but not for Archipelago. I love their shower gel but unfortunately the lotion's going back.

It also has a sticky consistency when applying (none after applying). I looked at the main ingredients and there it was....dimethicone/onol...I do not like this ingredient in lotions as it always without fail makes a lotion sticky...like pure glycerin would or something. BUT....dimethicone is a great protectant/moisturizer for problem skin ( psoriasis, eczema) so if you have any of those, maybe grab a bottle of this... it will be the least sticky ( and best smelling) of all your options.

This is by far, the best moisturizer I have found for my very dry skin. I even use it on my face twice a day.

I NEVER post about products, and let me tell you, I have tried EVERYTHING there is out there from lotion to body wash to make up to skin care. I pretty much have an Ulta at my home with the amount of products I buy and never use because I don't like them. Well I picked up this lotion about two months ago & last night I looked at it and it's halfway gone. THAT HAD TO BE IMPOSSIBLE! I never use that much of any product in it's lifetime but this lotion is THE BEST. It moisturizes my skin so perfectly there is nothing better. I don't care that I paid half a tank of gas for lotion, it is SO worth it. Best lotion ever. Now when I go to the stores, I don't even think twice about lotion. I have my HG & NEVER will use anything else!!!!! Seriously, give it some thought. I know the price is high, but it IS worth every penny!!!!

Smells gorgeous, like you are baked in brown sugar. Does not compete or conflict with other scented products.
