I have very curly hair and have struggled with seborrheic dermatitis and psoriasis on my scalp all of my life and this stuff is the best shampoo I have found. Even the stuff from the dermatologist didn't work as well. Yes, it does smell bad, but the smell doesn't linger in your hair if you use a conditioner afterwards. I guess it does dry hair out a little bit, but it is only meant to be used at the scalp not run all the way through the hair so it's not bad. I have this as well as the T-Sal and I switch back and fourth. I use the T-Gel once a week and the T-Sal once a week and it keeps my scalp in the best shape it has been in in a long time.

I have tried T-sal and T-gel both and I was really impressed with this one. T-gel original formula is really nice to flaky scull issue.

This is the best stuff to control dandruff. Gets rid of the flakes and the itch. It smells like medicine, but the smell doesnt stick around. I wish it wouldnt dry out my hair so much, but a good, thick conditioner helps, and i only use this one to two times per week. Really, the best stuff ive ever tried.

It doesn't smell fantastic, but it works a lot better on dandruff than the average Head & Shoulders does.

I didnt like the smell at first but after i first used it i acually started to like it. The smell isnt that strong so if you dont like it, it can be easily masked by a conditioner. It cleanses my hair very well, altough its drying, conditioner fixes that right away.

Bought this after reading the reviews. I was developing itchy and dry scalp that was starting to flake. Used it and my hair felt so clean and soft. The flakes were gone as well! I plan on using it once a week..

What can I say. Yes, it does smell bad, yes it dries your hair out. But! All of these can be overcome if you don't apply it over the length of your hair (when you're rinsing it off, it will only affect your hair a little) and use a good conditioner afterewards. Then the smell goes away and your hair will still be soft.
I will continue to use it, because it is the only thing that keeps my flaking, itching, constantly misbehaving scalp at bay.
