Being a mature woman, I don't like very bright lipstick which makes you look like a clown. I have been using this lipstick and this color (800) for quite a few years, always get compliments and am very happy with it. Sometimes I add gloss to give it a little more pizazz.

This is a nice classic creamy lipstick. Normally I wear Lancome lipsticks. This is very similar. That's not surprising since Loreal owns Lancome. This does have a fragrance to it. I really like the smell, but that can be subjective. The smell is subtle and does fade.

I love this lipstick. I have a nude color and it's a perfect nude. I am a pale skinned asian and this nude color gives just the right hint of color. It doesn't wash me out like other ones I've used so far. My other fav nude lipstick is by YSL but this does just as good. I gave 4 stars just because the smell. But if you can get over that smell, it's a keeper. And it's keeping my chapped lips well moisturized.
