I use this illuminator above the cheekbones, just to define the highest parts of them. it gives such a natural dimension to my face, great with or without makeup. there's a very faint shimmer, and my face just looks like it's healthy and glowing under the sun. it doesn't go cakey. in fact, when i tested it on my hand, after a few hours, the applied area feels a bit silkier than the rest of my hand. I recommend the warm option for those with yellow undertones, and cool option for those with pink undertones.

I use it on the hollows of my cheeks (whether i am contouring a lot or a little) and i blend into the apples of my cheeks. The bottle is a little annoying (you'll see what i mean if you buy it), but besides that i truly love it.

It is best applied after cleansing your skin and using CK 3-in-1 foundation. A little goes a long way. Apply a little at a time on areas you want to highlight and contour like your cheek bones, the side of your nose, underneath the eyes, and at the row bone and blend well into the skin. The more you blend it in, the lighter it gets, which make it very easy to attain a natural luminescence and a smooth contoured look.
