Comments about Marilyn Tuxedo Pro Brush:

I've been buying these brushes for year and have always loved them. With A LOT of thick, curly hair, these have been the only thing that work to straighten my hair without using a flat iron (which I refuse to use). Unfortunately the last few years, the quality has declined... I used to be able to hold on to a brush for a couple years before replacing it, but the ones I've bought lately lasted no more than a month before they literally fell apart (handle from brush) and the bristles all seem to melt at the tip... Never had that happen before. I'm going to assume they are manufacturing them differently, so I'm in search of new brushes!

This just didn't work on my thin hair. I had to return it.

Wouldn't "grab" my hair like other brushes. Difficult to use.

I have fine straight hair that is stacked in the back and longer in the front. This brush grabs the short hair in the back and the longer hair in the front without a tight curl. The brush has a nice non-slippery grip. I have been using this brand for years.

Comments about Marilyn Tuxedo Pro Brush:

I have had this brush for at least 10 years, and I really think I was one of the first to buy it...all those years ago. I found it at a Beauty Supply and the lady there said that professionals use it. It did have a learning curve, but then there weren't all those videos available on the internet in those days. I did learn on my own that my hair had to be almost dry to style it. If I try to dry my hair with it...it's a mess. I have fine hair, but quite a bit of it. Almost shoulder length, and it snarls. I keep trying brushes for blow drying my hair and this makes it look the best of any of them. I do with Ulta would carry some of the other styles, but I just don't understand the negative reviews. If my hair dries too much I just spritz on a little more water, and honest...I have movie star hair.
