Comments about Chi Turbo Round Boar Brush:

The bristle section is quite good but the seam between the bristles and the handles is such that your hair gets caught in it frequently. Not how a brush this expensive should perform

Comments about Chi Turbo Round Boar Brush:

I purchased this brush along with a hair dryer. I have used both only once and unlike my old dryer and brush the dryer and this brush seemed more rough and took longer to blow dry my hair straight. My arm and neck were hurting and This may be because it was my first time using. I am hoping I will get used to them.

My hair stylist uses this brush when she blow drys my asymmetrical stacked hair cut and I always LOVED the way the back had perfect volume & curled under! So I bit the bullet and made the purchase I desperately needed and noticed my hair was smoother and softer!

When it's time for replacement, I go back to this brush. I use it daily to gently straighten my naturally curly hair or tame frizzies. It's my go-to. Other brushes just haven't been as gentle or effective.

Tried this as an alternative to my nylon bristle brush to add shine and smoothness to my blowouts - but it's way too hard to pull through my medium to thick wavy hair to blow it out. Will give it another try, but might need to see if it's returnable.

I currently have a Chi Turbo Round Boar Brush I need to replace. However, I do not know how to tell if it is the medium or large size. It measure 1 1/4" at the barrel not including the plastic red rim at the top and bottom or the bristles. Is this the medium or large size?

I have naturally curly, coarse, shoulder length hair and am wanting to go with a straight style for awhile. Would the round Boar Brush be best to blow my curls out? I was thinking the medium size?

I have curly, fine, long hair. I've been trying to figure out what is the best kind/brand of hair brush or comb for my hair? In most health and beauty magazines they say boar bristle brushes. Most of the brushes look like they would tangle my hair??

                                A:

Due to the type and texture of your hair, we recommend to use a ceramic brush with nylon bristles rather than one with boar bristles. The boar bristles may tangle your hair and/or give you a straight result of a style with no body or volume. The boar bristle is most popular among stylists because it creates smoother looks and may give a longer lasting blowout. It really depends on what you want your finished style to be.

The best round brush to use for your particular hair type and texture would be a ceramic nylon bristle brush like CHI Turbo Round Nylon Brush. These will also give you a smooth and shiny look but with added volume:

For long hair, we suggest the largest size brush: Large (1-1/2").
