Comments about Hot Tools Turbo Ceramic Salon Ionic Dryer:

I was torn between 3 and 4 stars, but settled on 3 because diffusers are important to me and I need to look for another one if I want to keep this blowdryer. It's really quite a nice blowdryer.
My hair dries nicely with a lot less frizz (and requiring less product) than with my old blowdryer, but I need the diffuser and it's convex. It really should be concave so my hair doesn't fall out as easily. It would be nice if it were wider, and had a little flexibility in the fingers (so they don't hurt if they lightly bump my head). But the most important thing is the shape. I can't just stick the diffuser from my old Conair on here, because different brands aren't compatible.

Comments about Hot Tools Turbo Ceramic Salon Ionic Dryer:

I like the performance of the dryer, however, I can't tolerate the stink that comes out of it. It literally smells like someone threw a bunch of plastic bottles in a bonfire. Now my hair has that smell. I'm sad that I will have to return it because I was pleased with the weight and noise level and its ability to dry my hair quickly. The stink is awful and it gave me an instant headache. :(

Comments about Hot Tools Turbo Ceramic Salon Ionic Dryer:

I bought this hair dryer 2 months ago and it has given out this week. The high setting no longer works and any other setting makes it produce a burning, almost chemical, smell. It even set off my detectors. I won't be buying a hot tools product again.

Comments about Hot Tools Turbo Ceramic Salon Ionic Dryer:

this dryer dries very well, it doesn't seem to have as much power as my last one, but that might be the design of it. It does dry quicker than my last one, and my hair is less frizzy, so I am thinking it is the way it was designed. I do like it a lot and it has pretty colors on it.

Ecuador follows the same power grid as in US (120v, 60Hz).

Ecuador also use similar plug/connector type as in US so the product will work there.
