Comments about Hot Tools Turbo Ceramic Dryer:

I have naturally curly hair at shoulder length and need to diffuse my hair.
When the diffuser was on and at low speed I could hardly feel the air blowing out. Dry time was double what it would normally take compared to my old revlon dryer set on low. When I set this dryer to high with the diffuser on it disturbed my curl pattern and made my curls awkwardly stringy. Sadly I had to return it. Not for curly hair

Comments about Hot Tools Turbo Ceramic Dryer:

Do not waste your money, just get a $19.99 Revlon one or use the hotel hair dryer. I am admittedly spoiled having used a BaByliss Portofino for 3 years, that left my hair straight and soft with a touch of gloss. Today after using this Hot Tools, I look like I am auditioning for an 80s metal hair band, it's a giant frizzy poof of hair. The concentrator is so wide and the heat so low this doesn't straighten hair.

So I had the deva curl blow dryer with diffuser and loved it! But it stopped working, so I had to get another dryer. I tried the cheaper route and got this blow dryer and the deva curl adapter. Epic fail! This blow dryer takes forever to blow dry my hair with the deva curl adapter. I tried with the diffuser that comes with the dryer and did not get any results. I liked that it says it reduces frizz, but for me, it doesn't. Guess I'll have to get the deva curl dryer again.

My hair takes forever to dry and this has cut my drying time for sure! I can't give a great estimate bc I was allowing my hair to air dry for a bit before drying with my old hairdryer but this one had my hair dry within 3 minutes from towel dried hair only out of the shower around 10 minutes (so my hair was still pretty wet)

I had a Rusk dryer that I returned and replaced with this dryer, on the advice of my Ulta stylist. The Rusk tangled my fine hair to the point of me having to cut knots out daily. This model dries my hair quickly, yet is not overpowering to the point of matting my hair. I love the attachments, and plan to hopefully get used to the pic attachment to add volume to my style. Very reasonably priced dryer!

This dryer is not particularly loud. If you visit your nearest Ulta Beauty store, each of the dryers is displayed in a plug & play area where you can turn them on and hear them in person. We hope this helps!
