Tress Press Digital Styling Iron

Item #: 2303312

Drybar's Tress Press Digital Styling Iron straightens, shines, smoothes and curls. Yep, we said curls! Titanium floating plates straighten in one pass. Rounded edges allow you to wrap hair creating waves and curls. Negative ions smooth, eliminate frizz, and add shine by sealing the cuticle. Digital gauge allows for customizable heat setting based on hair type (up to 450F). Creates even, steady heat in 60 seconds. Memory lock function allows you to set the ideal temperature for your hair & return to that temperature at the press of a button.

Key Features:

  • Digital temperature gauge up to 450F
  • Even, steady heat in 60 seconds
  • Memory lock button
  • 60 minute automatic shut-off
  • 9 ft. Professional length cord

Work in 1-2" (2.5-5cm) cleanly parted sections. Brush each section through with the Lemon Drop Detangler Brush. Clamp iron over section (at the roots) and slowly pull through to the ends, slightly beveling toward the face to prevent flyaways & static. For fine or over-processed hair, Drybar recommends setting the temperature to less than 400 degrees F.

Comments about Drybar Tress Press Digital Styling Iron:

I work in healthcare & I'm always in a rush. I also live in a small space, so having an armful of styling tools isn't an option. I wanted to purchase a new iron that heated quickly, had multiple settings (because I have a ton of damage from frequently coloring my hair), & could create both voluminous, sleek, shiny, straight hair & voluminous, shiny, waves or curls.
My stylist recommended this iron- despite the high price point, it heated up incredibly fast & with all the settings, I managed to style my hair in no time. I created voluminous curls in minutes & the style stayed all day; even better, was the next morning when I woke to discover my hair was STILL nearly intact, so I didn't have to run the iron over it again, saving my dry, brittle, damaged hair from additional heat damage.
I'm on Day Two since styling my hair with this iron, & the curls are there- a bit more like the way one would expect curls to fall out after a fun night out, but nevertheless this is amazing! A bit of smoothing serum to deal with some bedhead fly-aways & I'll be able to go another day without heat styling! Hooray!! This is absolutely the best heat tool I've ever purchased. I am super happy with this product!

          love it!!

Comments about Drybar Tress Press Digital Styling Iron:

This was so worth it I have wavy hair that hardly holds straightening throughout the day this keeps my hair straight for days but still looks voluminous. I bought this to replace my 5 year old chi and I couldn't be happier. It heats quickly so I found 410 to be a great fit for me. Usually 1-2 passses depending on the size section works great.

Comments about Drybar Tress Press Digital Styling Iron:

I initially loved this iron. It was a bit on a bulky side, but I decided to give it a try. It did great straightening my hair. I would suggest starting with lowest temp setting and working your way up until you reach desired effect and meet the temperature match for your hair type. My first run, I went with the highest heat setting and almost burned my hair! So beware and be careful. When I tried curling with it, my hair would get snagged. Than came the paint chipping around week 3. That made snagging even worse for curling and straightening. For the amount of $ I paid for this product, I couldn't justify keeping it and needless to say it went back.

Heats up quickly, lightweight and smoothes hair as straightens. Straightens hair quickly with just one slide through allowing use of less heat overall during the process on your hair.

Comments about Drybar Tress Press Digital Styling Iron:

I purchased this online to use as a flat iron and curling iron. Works alright as a straightener but I had a lot of issues with it snagging and pulling on my hair even with brushing it out and using high end conditioning products on my hair. I definitely wouldn't recommend this. It's super bulky and definitely can only be used as a straightener. I think it would only really work well on thin straight hair, not my thicker wavy hair! Had to exchange and ended up with a babyliss prima 3000 which I'm very happy with!
