Comments about Japonesque Travel Blush Brush:

I bought this brush almost 10 years ago & I still love it! I used to use it for blush, but now I use it for powder contouring. I love that I can compress the bristles (like a fan) and get a very precise application along the cheekbones and down the sides of my nose, then turn the brush wide to blend everything in a larger area. LOVE this brush! I hope if I buy a second one for my client kit the quality is the same as the original one I have.

This brush is ok, and it will likely do what you need it to do, but it's just not worth the price.

This brush has very fine "bristles". It barely picks up product. Could have bought something far less expensive.

I have had this brush for over 5 years now. It's too small but the bristles are very soft. I like other brushes to apply my blush.

Comments about Japonesque Travel Blush Brush:

I recently bought several Japonesque brushes and found the quality inconsistent. This brush is a higher priced one for the brushes in this range, yet possessed hairs of lesser quality than the others. I kept three others from this range that I bought, but returned this one (The silver handled range, not the black handeled 'Pro'). I absolutely would have kept it if it had the same quality hairs as the other brushes seem to possess.

This is the softest makeup brush I have ever owned! I use it every time I do my makeup, which is several times a week, and with regular washing it has lasted me over 10 years! Still just as good as the day I got it. I use it to lightly dust my finishing powder, and I could not be happier with it. Would definitely recommend to anyone!

I had this same brush before and needed a new one. The new one doesn't seem to have the same application feel - it's not as smooth and I find myself having to blend with another applicater.

                        • Q:

a few years ago, i bought japonesque brushes made from animals such as sable and squirrel - at least, this is what the packaging claimed -- but now, i noted that there's no mention of what the brushes are made of -- has japonesque stopped using 'real' animal hair? i wanted to get a couple of brushes which are missing from my collection. i'd appreciate yr detailed reply

                            A:

Japonesque brushes are made of both natural and synthetic fibers. Different fibers are used depending on the function of the brush. The Japonesque Travel Blush Brush is a blend of natural fibers.
