Although I have fine, wavy hair, this conditioner does not weigh it down. It helps smooth the ends between cuts.

Hmmm.... I'm a little perplexed of all the 5 star reviews. Yes, I did see a difference after first use, less frizzy, but not life changing...still hair breaking off. I'll let you know after a few weeks...lol....

Comments about L'Oréal Total Repair 5 Damage-Erasing Balm:

If I hadn't received a sample of this shampoo, conditioner and deep conditioner I would have missed out on discovering a very good line of hair care. This review of course is about the balm only. I love the deep conditioner in this line and for my hair I prefer using a deep conditioner almost every time I wash my hair. I do not wash my hair daily. I'm disabled so I no longer wash my hair daily or every other day. My hair is color treated, blonde, and is naturally curly and frizzes. I love the shampoo and the balm from this line the most and use the regular conditioner that I did purchase either at the top of my hair and use the balm on ends or if I wash my hair more often than I will alternate with this balm and the conditioner and that seems to work out ok. For you this may be the perfect balm conditioning weekly. Personally I won't likely buy the conditioner again but will buy this balm for sure again. I want to try a smoothing shampoo from this line also for when I want to wear my hair straight and tame frizziness.
