Comments about L'Oréal Total Repair 5 Damage-Erasing Balm:

I was skeptic at first because I usually use only salon products such as matrix, redken, etc. I used this after lightening prelightened hair, it made the hair feel so soft & like it had never been colored before. Will be repurchasing !!

    Nice conditioner, but nothing special

    By LoneOrchid

    from Asheville, NC

Comments about L'Oréal Total Repair 5 Damage-Erasing Balm:

My hair felt softer after using this than with the average drugstore conditioner, but it fell short of erasing any damage. I have long, fine, uncolored hair that has some signs of drying and damage at the ends and around the crown (frizzy flyaways), but this didn't help any of that. I've gone through almost the entire jar and have used it as a treatment a few times (applied to dry hair and left on for 20-30 min). The best it does is act like a slightly better conditioner. No lasting effects, must be used every wash for the same unimpressive results. But you get what you pay for, so no big loss.

My favorite conditioner. It does the job, smoothing, restore the moist to my dry hair. It feels really soft after used. Smell's great too. Recommended it!

Comments about L'Oréal Total Repair 5 Damage-Erasing Balm:

This is my second time buying this product and it has worked well for me! especially following the instructions, leaving it in for about 5-6 mins. My hair is definitely softer after a regular wash and then leaving in this balm. As someone who has processed their hair a lot within the last year, it's definitely a product that's helped my hair stay a bit more healthy than it was before!

Didn't really do anything one way or another

      By RWolfi

      from Oklahoma

Comments about L'Oréal Total Repair 5 Damage-Erasing Balm:

I've used L'Oreal hair dye 23 years now. I've always liked the way the color came out so it was great. Then as I've aged I noticed that my hair began to become brittle and get tangled a lot. The hair salon said that my hair was "overworked" so I bought this L'Oreal Hair Restorer (as I've been using the #5 Repair shampoo, conditioner, and spritz since they came out). Honestly they haven't helped my hair at all. I guess I'm just glad it hasn't made it worse but it was really sucky to pay all this and still not have any positive results. It feels nice when I get out of the shower but as soon as it dries it's the same old brittleness and tangles like a rats nest in a matter of minutes.

      Such a great deep conditioner

      By fergacookie

Comments about L'Oréal Total Repair 5 Damage-Erasing Balm:

I absolutely love this product. I have mostly fine straight hair that's slightly wavy in a few places, but lots of little fly-aways. This makes that much more manageable and helps those pesky little suckers lay down. It leave the hair super soft. I'm allergic to everything, but I can handle the fragrance in this just fine.

Love this product discovered it in a pharmacy out in Cancun when traveling, purchased it and fell in love. However I had to leave it behind due to TSA regulations. So happy to have found it in the states works great!! Really leaves hair feeling soft, gets rid of dry ends. It is a little bit of a heavy product but that doesn't bother me. And it smells great !

I used this in conjunction with opalex. I have used opalex with other repairing conditioners but i really liked it with this. It really left my hair soft amd shiny and healthier looking. I have bleached hair so this obviously will not be wnough to tame frizz i will also need a leave in balm to help woth that but with this alone it really does make a difference and is better than other drugstore conditioners. I think i liked this just as mich if not more than my ion repair conditioner. It smells nice which is a plus. Also does not leave that gooey filmy feeling that some thick conditioners leave. Its lightweight. I uploaded a photo, mind you my hair has been bleached twice and toned many times so i would ao its pretty healthy for all the processing i have done to it my whole life.

Comments about L'Oréal Total Repair 5 Damage-Erasing Balm:

I have thick wavy/curly hair and I've recently started bleaching my hair. Well my old routine doesn't work with keeping my hair soft and moisturized. I kind of just stumbled across this on the internet and decided to buy it when I spotted it in the store. And it's absolutely amazing. I even put just a little bit in my hair as a leave-in after washing it.
My daughter is mixed and has very curly/kinky/extremely dry hair and it works amazingly on her hair as well.

        Satisfied!

        By Alisb

        from Houston

Comments about L'Oréal Total Repair 5 Damage-Erasing Balm:

I started using the total repair 5 damage erasing balm along with the shampoo and conditioner. I've used it for a month. I have run out of the shampoo and using another brand but continue to use the damage erasing balm and I will never stop buying this product! I hope L'Oréal never discontinues it! It is the best hair repair product I have used and I have spent hundreds of dollars on products but none compare to this one. The best way to use it is leave it for at least 30 minutes the more time the better. Got rid of the frizz and has literally repaired my dry ends due to bleaching. I use it every time I wash my hair, every other day. I have very fine hair and now it looks beautiful and healthy. Thanks for this great product! I recommend it to all my friends!

            A:

The Total Repair 5 Damage-Erasing Balm is a great deep conditioning and repair balm. Use this product in place of your regular conditioner. Depending on how much TLC the hair needs, use this product as needed. In the beginning the hair may need the extra care provided with this balm almost after every shampoo. With regular use, as the condition of the hair improves, this product is most typically used once a week or once every other week

Hi Cunii! This product does not make the claim to help hair grow, but it does repair damage that has been done to the hair. It helps repair weak, dull, dehydrated, and rough hair while mending split ends!

All of our shampoos, conditioners and treatments can be safely used on color treated hair. In fact, the Total Repair 5 Damage-Erasing Balm is very similar to the after color conditioner included with our hair color kits.

The Total Repair 5 Damage-Erasing Balm can be used following every shampoo if your needs the extra TLC. Don't be surprised though, to find that as the weeks go by, you need to use the Total Repair 5 Damage-Erasing Balm less frequently.
