Comments about L'Oréal Total Repair 5 Damage-Erasing Balm:

I have bought this multiple times and will continue to use! I decided to start introducing more hair care products into my regimen beyond just shampoo and conditioner and this was one of the first products and this has changed my hair! My hair is so much more healthy these days and I think this is the product that did it! It's softer, and helped with breakage and split ends. I don't use this everyday but I probably use it between once a week and once every two weeks- I usually go off with how my hair is looking/feeling. (I try to only wash my hair twice a week and that really helped too). Love this! Will continue to re-purchase!

Comments about L'Oréal Total Repair 5 Damage-Erasing Balm:

I've been using this conditioner for well over a year maybe even a couple. I lighten my hair with bleach and my hair goes well past the middle of my back so as you can imagine it needs lots of lovin. I only wash my hair once or twice a week ( luckily my scalp isn't oily and if needed I use leave in conditioner) and I use this everytime and it has made my hair so healthy. I used to use the L'Oreal mask that they sold only in salons but honestly I can't tell the difference between that and this one which is much more affordable. If you have dry damaged hair you need this in your life.

Comments about L'Oréal Total Repair 5 Damage-Erasing Balm:

I LOVE this deep conditioner. It as good, and better than some, high end conditioners. I have very fine hair that can get weighed down and greasy, but I also have long hair that is prone to breakage and split ends. I use this deep conditioner once a week and it solves all my hair problems. Make certain you are using it correctly I put the product on the ends of my hair and work it up. I leave the conditioner on for 5-10 minutes and BAM silky smooth hair! I highly recommend it.

Comments about L'Oréal Total Repair 5 Damage-Erasing Balm:

I liked this product because it contained ceramide. When bleaching hair, ceramide helps smooth ragged hair cuticles. You will get maximum benefit when combined w a ceramide conditioner. Use 1x a week. Use on damp hair for 10-20 mins. Cold rinse.
No heat styling. Greatly improves hair. Minimal breakage. Ok every day for a week.after heavy bleaching (i.e. lifting black to blonde) Smells great.

I saw this product used as a mask and it also says conditioner. I am a little confused on how to use it. My hair was recently colored and i don't wanna go all crazy on it. So, do i use this product after I've showered and washed my hair with a different shampoo and conditioner and then apply this product on my damp hair and then rinse it out? What are the steps?

I recently used a sample of this L'Oréal Total Repair 5 Damage-Erasing Balm and fell in love with the product, but unfortunately when I went to buy a full-size of this I was almost positive that it has almond products included in the ingredients, but my further inspection has came up clear. Hi L'Oréal Lover! We are so happy you like Total Repair 5 Damage Erasing Balm!

Thank you for your inquiry concerning almonds in our products. Most ingredients derived from these sources are highly refined and retain no traces of allergenic proteins. For less refined ingredients from natural sources, The L'Oréal Group has established strict limits on the level of potentially allergenic proteins. We believe that this policy minimizes the likelihood of reactions to these proteins in the majority of sensitive individuals. However, since individuals exhibit a wide range of sensitivities to these proteins, if you have any questions or concerns you should discuss with your medical care provider.

All the ingredients we use in a product are listed on the package or the label of the product itself. For products too small to accommodate the list, a separate ingredient list is available on the display unit in the store for your convenience. Since some ingredients are known by more than one name, we use the standard industry FDA-recognized names. A review of the ingredients that are listed on all of our products or packages will alert you to the presence of this type of ingredient.

To be extra safe you can also ask your stylist that permed your hair just in case she used other products on your hair during the process. It will be able to help you get rid of your dry and dull ends as well. We hope this information is helpful!

The Total Repair 5 Damage-Erasing Balm is a great deep conditioning and repair balm. Use this product in place of your regular conditioner. Depending on how much TLC the hair needs, use this product as needed. In the beginning the hair may need the extra care provided with this balm almost after every shampoo. With regular use, as the condition of the hair improves, this product is most typically used once a week or once every other week
