Ask a Question
The EcoTools Total Perfecting Blender is designed with EcoFoam Technology to blend primer and foundation for flawless looking skin.

Features:
  • Look and Live Beautifully with the unique EcoFoam Technology made of 70% plant based materials.
  • Cruelty Free: EcoTools loves their furry friends! Their products are PETA certified, meaning they are 100% cruelty free and vegan.
  • Latex free.
  • Dermatologist Tested.
Use sponge wet or dry. When using wet, squeeze excess water until damp. Apply makeup all-over face in a "stippling" or "bouncing" motion to blend product into skin. Dry and display sponge in aerated storage stand until next use.

Extend the life of your sponge, and get rid of bacteria by cleansing sponge weekly.

Here's how EcoTools clean their sponges:
  • Step 1: Submerge the sponge under running water.
  • Step 2: Remove sponge from water and add a few drops of the EcoTools Brush Shampoo.
  • Step 3: Squeeze sponge repeatedly until soap begins to lather. Continue to squeeze, but do not pinch or rub to avoid rips.
  • Step 4: Rinse under water, continuing to squeeze to remove suds.
  • Step 5: Under clean water, rinse sponge to remove sponge and makeup buildup. If buildup is still present, repeat steps 1-5.
  • Step 6: Squeeze out extra water with towel and lay flat to dry.

Comments about EcoTools Total Perfecting Blender:

Had gone through a couple of beauty blenders and actually tried this one after my boyfriend picked it up and said "this one's not $20!". Absolutely performed just as well as my beauty blender, and actually lasted longer before showing tears or getting permanently stained. This is my second one of these, the previous one made it four months with regular cleaning no problem! I use it for liquid foundation, concealer, setting powder, and highlight & contour creams and it creates a smooth finish with all! Def recommend if you're looking for something extra budget friendly.

I get this just a little damp with a spray bottle and it applies my liquid concealer evenly. I've tried 4 different concealers and it worked great for all of them: nyx, ulta, maybelline, tarte. Comparable to real techniques.

Comments about EcoTools Total Perfecting Blender:

The real techniques sponge dropped in quality lately, it just got a lot stiffer and harder to wash, so I've been looking for another affordable replacement. This one is definitely it. It is nice and soft when wet and rinses pretty easily. It's not the most convenient to wash, but it's such good quality any other way that it really isn't a big deal to me. Definitely rebuying

      Extremely difficult to clean

      By karendn

      from Corona, CA

Comments about EcoTools Total Perfecting Blender:

I wish I can give this product the full five stars but I can't because it's so difficult to clean! I think this sponge is better than the Real Techniques Miracle Complexion Sponge. It applies foundation better, is bouncer, softer, more porous, and has an edge that makes it easier to blend out concealer under the eyes. However, washing it is such a hassle! I usually wash my sponges with Dr. Bronner's bar soap and it's clean in one wash. With this sponge, I had to wash it over 5 times. Also, I accidentally stained my sponge with liquid liner and it won't come off at all. I've never had that problem. Other than that, it's a great sponge when applying makeup.

Comments about EcoTools Total Perfecting Blender:

Applies liquid makeup like a dream. Use wet with loose powder for poreless skin. I love the full coverage, dewy look. I use this sponge to blend EVERYTHING. Soak it, ring it out, blot with paper towel, and "bounce" liquid foundation all over face. Bounce concealer under your eyes, it has a sharp edge to blend the eye area quickly. After applying powder, contour, and blush, I bounce and blend everything together and the Total Perfecting Blender, makes my face looks perfectly airbrushed. I LOVE the flat edge to sharpen my cheek contour with loose powder. It's easy to wash everyday, just use a pump of dish soap and ring it out with water until there's no more soap suds.

        Service and delivery comments:

Ulta always delivers fast/on time, packaged with care, and high quality, free samples. I've order tons of times throughout the years, and NEVER had a bad experience. Customer service has ALWAYS responded quick. They're extremely professional, friendly, and fair.

Comments about EcoTools Total Perfecting Blender:

Although I love the unique shape of this sponge, the quality is far too poor to ignore. My sponge tore in a few spots after one just one wash. As with all my blenders, I gently wash each after every use but have never experienced tearing after ONE wash. Further this blender is too "soft" and porous for applying foundation as the product soaks far too easily into the blender.

              Hi Chloe,

The Total Perfecting Blender is exactly the same as the big one in the Duo. There should be no difference in quality, look, touch or feel. Thanks for letting us know that there is a review that says that - we will reach out to that person to find out what happened.

              Thanks again!

              A:

              Hi Haylizzy,

The container that you see in the picture acts as both a little stand for the sponge when not in use, and a handle when you do use it. It does come out of the stand, in case you wanted to use the sponge on its own.

              Hope that helps!
