Comments about The Body Shop Tea Tree Oil Blemish Fade Night Lotion:

I have combo skin type (super oily in T-zone) with hormonal acne around my chin and mouth that start with a bump then evolve into a whitehead over night. When you have an important event to go to, you don't want to have a giant pus filled whitehead being the center of attention - this is where this lotion is perfect.

For whiteheads, I sanitize some tweezers, pick the top and gently push the white pus out with a tissue or Q-tips. With clean hands, apply this lotion on top of pimple and wait an hour and you'll see the redness reduce and the acne minimize and dry up. Feel free to apply more lotion throughout the day as a spot treatment. I've also noticed scars/hyperpigmitations fading over time with weeks of use. Make sure you wear sun screen during the day if you plan to go outside.

I've tried the Mario Badescu pink drying lotion by leaving it overnight, but it didn't do anything to dry up my whiteheads and it has a even funkier smell that you smell after you wash it off (eww).

I still have breakouts from hormones, but this is the best solution for dealing with whiteheads a few hours/over before you need to go somewhere.

Comments about The Body Shop Tea Tree Oil Blemish Fade Night Lotion:

Stings slightly if you use when skin is too dry or damaged. VERY good for fading post-acne marks. More effective product than the Tea Tree face scrub 3-in-1 from the same line and safer than pure Tea Tree oil.

Light moisturizer with a strong Tea Tree smell, would be better for summer since it absorbs quickly and doesn't leave my skin oily.

Comments about The Body Shop Tea Tree Oil Blemish Fade Night Lotion:

I read really good reviews on this product so I was excited to switch out my night cream for this one. I've struggled with minor acne for the past 2 years now, and before I started using this lotion my skin was the best it's been in a long time. So I decided to try this product thinking that it would maintain my nice skin and keep future possible breakouts away. I've been using this product for exactly one week and my skin's texture is starting to look and feel rough, and I'm experiencing red bumps all over my face (I'm not sure if it's little acne spots or maybe a reaction + I don't have sensitive skin) but I will not continue to use this lotion. It's also very dry on my OILY skin! I had high hopes for this

Comments about The Body Shop Tea Tree Oil Blemish Fade Night Lotion:

I use it right before bed after cleansing and toning (with their tea tree products) and I have noticed the redness in my face has gone down and my small acne marks are slowly fading and it hasn't been a week yet! I have oily/combo skin and have some acne marks here and there mostly on my forehead. I can see that over time they will be gone completely. It's not drying and one pump is enough for my whole face. I personally love the smell of tea tree oil but if you don't I would still consider it because the smell is pretty much gone after your skin absorbs it. It doesn't sting or irritate my skin at all, it just feels cooled and refreshed. If clearing up your skin, smoothing texture, and fading old acne marks is your concern, I recommend purchasing tea tree products because they are natural and effective. I'm very happy with the results so far, although I wish they sold this product in bigger sizes because you only get one ounce.

The tea tree line is great, love all the products in this line. However, this moisturizer is too heavy for me, made me break out. I use the matte moisturizer at night instead.

Comments about The Body Shop Tea Tree Oil Blemish Fade Night Lotion:

So far, I really really love this night lotion. My dark spots are fading, my blemishes are gone and my skin is smooth. Highly reccommend it although I have one catch, I don't want to say it smells bad BUT the smell is very strong. Tea tree has a very minty smell and I am fine with it, but if you share a bed with someone they will definitely be able to smell it, 100% until it soaks in and the smell wears off.
