Comments about The Body Shop Tea Tree Oil Blemish Fade Night Lotion:

This was working reaaaaaalllly well for me....then I ran out. Unfortunately my Ulta runs out of products so much that I often have to wait weeks to get things unless I want to order online which I hate doing. So I waited two weeks for this to get back in stock. Started using it again and now my skin is getting dry patches and it's not responding like it had before. I ended up returning it for something less strong but I hope maybe by summertime I can try this again when my skin is less dry. I wasn't having dryness in the beginning. I used this every night before bed and my skin looked great, it stayed moisturized through the day, and I saw way less breakouts and smaller pores. Stopped using it and now my skin is breaking out and looks oily. I got it back and started using it again but its not effective anymore and it has caused dry patches...so sad but I can't give the product a bad rep. I think it works well but you gotta keep using it to keep your skin in check.

I use this product as my night moisturizer and final step after I wash my face and use toner. It's silky smooth and absorbs quickly into my skin. It's light and doesn't clog my pores, which is important since I'm applying it right before I go to bed. My skin looks refreshed and clear in the morning. No breakouts since I started using this.

Comments about The Body Shop Tea Tree Oil Blemish Fade Night Lotion:

I have acne-prone, sensitive skin. I'm trying moisturizer after trying a few other moisturizing methods such as jojoba oil, which didn't work for me. It is not as moisturizing as I'd like, especially for winter time. It is also pretty drying (as in flaky skin drying) which I assume is from the tea tree oil to treat the blemishes. I'm using the one I bought, but I'm not going to repurchase. But I haven't seen new breakouts which is nice.

              A:

Thank you for contacting The Body Shop. Tea Tree Oil Blemish Fade Lotion is a lightweight gel cream that helps to improve the appearance of oiliness and blemished skin while you sleep. This helps to diminish the appearance of existing blemishes. We recommend Drops of Youth Serum which has been known to diminish the appearance of acne scars, as it helps to accelerate skin cellular renewal.

Thank you for contacting The Body Shop. Tea Tree Oil Blemish Fade Night Lotion helps to improve the appearance of blemish-damaged skin. It helps to prevent blemishes, but we cannot make the claim that it makes acne scars go away. I would recommend adding Drops of Youth Serum to your skincare routine. This serum encourages surface skin cell renewal, which helps to diminish the appearance of scarring.
