Comments about Physicians Formula Talc-Free Cushion Corrector + Primer Duo SPF 20:

Didn't give the coverage I expected. When I use a lavender product to eliminate the sallowness of my skin I expect to see the lavender. Did not. Also the applicator was awkward. Very thin and when I applied the plastic would rub against my skin leaving a red scratchy mark.

Comments about Physicians Formula Talc-Free Cushion Corrector + Primer Duo SPF 20:

So I feel like I've been mostly been hearing negative things about this but decided to try it anyway. At first, I tried using a flat foundation brush to apply this and I wasn't happy with the results. It seemed VERY sheer which made it kind of pointless. I went back to my Maybelline Master Camo which is thicker, making it appear more pigmented, but the bad thing about that is that is cakes and separates and ends up looking pretty bad as times passes. I tried the Physicians Formula cushion corrector again but used my fingers instead. Much better! It applies better, blends better, builds better (due to the sheerness, I can add another layer or two to build color without creating cakiness), and it wears better as in it doesn't separate over the course of the day. It's also better for my under eye area as it doesn't settle into my fine lines making me look older. I'm glad I gave this another shot.

Comments about Physicians Formula Talc-Free Cushion Corrector + Primer Duo SPF 20:

I was considering purchasing an Etude House color correcting cushion, but I was concerned about how long the shipping would take, so I instead got this cushion in the peach/lavender set because I wanted a quick fix- That was a mistake.

The product was incredibly watery in the cushion but stiff and hard to blend once applied onto my face- So much so that it actually began cracking immediately after! What's worse, when I tried applying my regular foundation over top, it actually began to break down my foundation and made it difficult for my foundation to stick. Now I do have very dry skin- so MAYBE my oily skin girls will have a better time of it- But for me, it was a hot mess.

It also didn't do exactly a fantastic job at color correcting in itself, either. Both colors seemed to have less of the color they intended to be, and more of an incredibly white cast (Even for me, a shade 21 in most Korean foundations).

So if you're incredibly fair and oily skinned? Maybe.
For anyone else? Probably not. Stick with Etude House or Lancome if you want to splurge.

Love this! Only con is the applicator it comes with is useless. I use a foundation brush to apply the product straight from the package.

Comments about Physicians Formula Talc-Free Cushion Corrector + Primer Duo SPF 20:

For reference, I have dry, fair/warm, acne-prone, reactive, 29yo skin. My main priority for finding face product is non-offenders: non-drying, noncomedogenic, and sensitive-skin safe. I bought this for the yellow side expecting to rarely use green. I love yellow for counteracting redness and warming up foundation (I have trouble finding foundation that is both light and yellow enough). Before this product I had tried ~5 or so green cc products with limited success. They either made no appreciable difference or I'd look like the hulk and only the heaviest foundation would cover it. My initial reaction was surprise: I liked the green side better because it was more effective at canceling redness AND it wasn't *too* green. I was underwhelmed by the yellow because I was hoping for something brighter and I thought this was little peachy for my purposes. I was pleased to see that neither side exacerbated dry patches (why I was interested in liquid formulation in the 1st place). The downside of the green is that it leaves a slight white cast, though its fixed with tinted moisturizer on top. I've ended up using the yellow and green mixed together with a synthetic brush, which negates the downsides of each color and the small container/2-colors-side-by-side problem. I appreciate that I don't have to worry about diluting the SPF of other face layers with this. The slightly peachy yellow is a theoretical plus for under-eye but keep in mind its sheer (maybe good if only using TM or BB and subtle is your goal). The cushion pod can be popped out of the bulky plastic container easily but I wouldn't trust the lid to stay closed in a bag. I really like the product and will repurchase as long as it lasts a reasonable amount of time. I'm a little less optimistic about how this product would perform on darker, cooler, or more oily complexions. I do recommend it for light skin tones and dry-to-normal skin types that want generalized redness reduction.

Comments about Physicians Formula Talc-Free Cushion Corrector + Primer Duo SPF 20:

I purchased the yellow and green cushion corrector. I have only mild redness around my nose and chin and this did not cover very well. I must admit that I purchased thinking the formula would be a bit thicker (as opposed to watery) to act and a conceal/correct product though. Overall, I think this would work great if used with concealer and perhaps it could minimize the amount of concealer you need. But my goal was to use this in place of concealer for the trouble spots and it did not serve its intended purpose. Also the applicator is awful. Not horrible, but could be better.

This is the peach and green correcter; a light formula, smooth and buildable coverage. So far, I've used a couple of times and am pleased with it.

The cons are that I don't like using the applicator it came with. The plastic handle has a sharp edge and I scratch myself with application, hate it! I'm trying to use different brushes but some are too large to fit one half of the split pan. I will try other options because I really like this formula. The compact is too large and bulky for travel and will not be taking it with me on trips.

I love most things PF but quite disappointed at this cushion offering. Didn't do much to even my complexion once foundation was on...just another layer, another step. But most disappointed that this has half as much as a regular cushion compact - which is already half of a full foundation. I know this is marketed more in terms as a concealer type product which is why they did that but with cushions you dab over your face versus small areas like undereye or blemishes, so I wish they dropped the price on this one or made it with more product.

I have an issue on redness on my face and this helps me make those parts less noticeable with natural finish. If I really don't want to put foundation or cc cream, I just put this on over my moisturizer and sunscreen and I'm good to go. My redness on the face has high and low level which depends on the weather or how moisturized it is. This does not cover the color perfectly but it does help me when the redness is at its low level.
