I just got it today and I already love it. I also bought the straightener and didn't even need to use it, this blow dryer dried my hair straight with the attachement, no frizz, it felt like I did straighten it. It's fantastic, especially for the price.

Comments about Remington T Studio Thermaluxe Pro Series Hair Dryer:

I gave this dryer a chance and it did not work out.
I am Caucasian with long naturally curly hair that does what it wants and won't be disrespected.
It takes 45-60 minutes of blow drying to get completely dry with most hair dryers.
My long hair kept getting sucked into the bottom. This angered my hair. It mustn't be angered. I had to pay special attention and hold it a certain way which was no easy task since it was pretty heavy.
It was too loud to have right by my ear for an hour if I wanted my hair dry. If I couldn't stand it for the full dry time, I'd have to go out with wet hair. It doesn't like it when it's wet. The reason it took so long to dry my hair is because it just never got hot enough. Never had the need to use the cool button. My curly hair demands a higher heat. There is no other way.
I couldn't use the high setting because the air flow was essentially a wind tunnel. That made the whole situation worse.
I could've overlooked all of this if I felt like I was having a good hair day more often than not. But during the two weeks of use, I had zero good hair days. ZERO. In fact, my hair felt very ashamed by the way it looked after using this hair dryer. It refused to lay or part correctly and threw a friz tantrum. My hair was not having it and demanded I sacrifice the dryer to the gods of the underworld. So it went back.

*I ended up buying the Remington T|Studio Pearl Ceramic soft touch at another store. It is half the price, gets plenty hot on medium setting, airflow isn't too strong to use without a diffuser if I want to get cray and almost every day is a good hair day. It pleases my curly hair.

So far this dryer works well. It seems to dry faster than my old dryer. I like the soft cord as it does not tangle. I have only been using for a few weeks so time will tell how it holds out.

Comments about Remington T Studio Thermaluxe Pro Series Hair Dryer:

I highly recommend this hair dryer. First off it's affordable which is a plus. It is a very powerful dryer, my fine hair is usually dried within 7 minutes and my moms super thick hair is done in 15... It's that good. The heat settings are nice, there's basically only really cold and hot but not burn your hair hot. The attachments are really nice for drying your hair straight or enhancing your curly hair. The chord is nice because it doesn't tangle and I doubt it can tear. I love the dark purple color, it's sleek and professional looking. This is an amazing product!

Comments about Remington T Studio Thermaluxe Pro Series Hair Dryer:

I'm no weakling, but this unit is too heavy, also large and awkward to hold at the correct angle. I used the concentrator nozzle and a round brush to smooth my long curly hair. The frizz reduction was great, drying time seemed normal, and I loved the cord. Wish it wasn't so long in the "beak", especially with the attachments.
