Comments about L'Oréal Sublime Bronze Self Tanning Gelee:

The price is right. Still looking for a self tanner that gives a more bronze tone. This color is better then others I've tried in a similar price range. I liked Estée Lauder best, however they discontinued the gel.

Comments about L'Oréal Sublime Bronze Self Tanning Gelee:

I have been using Clinique's self tanner for years. Decided to try something less expensive. This self tanner works great, just be sure to apply it evenly & massage it into your skin. The first time I applied it in the morning, waited 4 hours then saw that it wasn't dark enough so I applied more. About 2 hours later, my legs looked great, natural tan, not too dark. It only smells weird when you first apply it. Tan lasted almost a week; the Clinique one faded after about 2 days.

We are snow birds and look very white in the south west when we arrive. This product is a big seller where we go. Not needed when I have my own tan.

Love the gelee more than lotion or anything else

Comments about L'Oréal Sublime Bronze Self Tanning Gelee:

Personally I find the lotions can rub off and streak even when you think you are dry. The gelee is perfect!!! Needs to be more available - it always looks natural and never leaves me streaky of rubs off - fades naturally - this is my favorite go to of all time - wish could find the gelee stocked in more stores (usually the lotion is the only option) if you see the gelee - grab it it's amazing

Comments about L'Oréal Sublime Bronze Self Tanning Gelee:

I have been using this for years on my face because, for some reason, my face does not tan at all, no matter what I do. I apply it almost every night to a clean face and it give my face just the right amount of color. I also use it my body sometimes, but apply it correctly because it does produce color and could streak if not applied properly. Might not be for everyone on the face, but works great for me.

Comments about L'Oréal Sublime Bronze Self Tanning Gelee:

I use this tanning gel once a week. First i shower, shave and exfoliate. After drying off with towel (I use the blow dryer on cool also) apply tanning gel to body. Let dry about a half hour. Drying time can be shortened by standing by fan and blow drying body on cool. Color starts developing in 3 hours.

Comments about L'Oréal Sublime Bronze Self Tanning Gelee:

I had used L'Oreal tanners (Sublime Bronze) in the past and thought I would try this one because it was paraben-free. I mix all of my self tanners with my lotion because I am quite fair and always want to make sure it's a gradual tan build-up, to prevent any mistakes. This one reminded me of the old-time tanners that were yellowish tan, not pleasant odor and easily show mistakes, esp. on drier areas. I returned this one and had to go back to the paraben Sublime Bronze one that I had always loved. I also like how this one will automatically leave a light and subtle shimmery glow while it's working. It's very forgiving even if you hadn't exfoliated well beforehand. Not a beautiful scent either, but being a budget shopper, it is a great one from the drugstores.
