Remington

Style Curl Envy Ionic Rollers

Item #: 2210929

All the Power! All the Features! All the Style!

  • Ionic Conditioning for less frizz and more shine
  • 10 soft grip rollers: 5 medium and 5 large
  • 90 second instant heat
  • Cool touch end rings for comfortable handling
  • Convenient
Position rollers securely onto the heating elements. Failure to do so can cause damage, including melting of the rollers. Close pouch and plug in unit. Rollers can be used in 90 seconds. For a soft, wavy curl, use the rollers after the 90-second heat-up. For a tighter curl, use the rollers when they have reached maximum curling temperature.

1. Get Ready: Before setting, hair should be dry or only slightly damp, never wet. Section hair and comb it smooth. Roll hair as usual, in the direction of desired style, securing each roller with the proper size color-coded wire holder placed crosswise over the roller.

2. Get Set: Continue until your entire head is set. The time the rollers are left in the hair affects the tightness of the curl. The shorter the time, the softer the curl. Rollers will remain curling active approximately 15 minutes. If you wish to reuse rollers, return them to the unit and wait 90 seconds.

3. Go!: To release secured roller, remove each wire holder and roller gently. Unwind, never pull. Place roller back on correct post. Let each new curl spring back into position and cool for a moment. Then brush out hair and style. Spritz hair for extra hold.

Comments about Remington Style Curl Envy Ionic Rollers:

Daily. Have tried others in a pinch while out of town. It was awful: painful and clunky. I couldn't wait to get my faves again.

    Disappointed in these rollers

    By Donna88

Comments about Remington Style Curl Envy Ionic Rollers:

These hot rollers did not work for me. The roller did not have a good holding grip. I have always used rollers with coarse spikes that had better grip and lots of heat. These do not provide good curl.

Comments about Remington Style Curl Envy Ionic Rollers:

I have owned 2 sets of the ORIGINAL Remington TRAVEL Hot 10 roller set for over 6 years and absolutely LOVED them. It had the METAL bottom that the curlers sat on inside the case which heated the rollers very quickly (within 5 to 7 minutes). The new ones look the same but do not have the metal bottom they have a plastic bottom that NEVER gets hot so consequently nor do the rollers. I was told by the Remington customer service that "the plastic is over the metal to protect consumers from putting their fingers on the hot metal". I said "but the heat is not transferring. Why don't you put a plastic screen that is full of holes to let the heat come through to heat up the rollers? " Well guess what... when I went to return the new rollers I noticed that Remington did sell a large set of rollers that did have the plastic screen with the holes! They obviously know that there is a heating problem with the newly designed travel sets but they are making no attempt to pull these defective roller sets off the retailers shelves and replacing the defective ones. I gave the 2 new sets over 30 minutes each using different wall receptacles and they never did heat up enough to put in my hair . Very disappointed because the older ones were GREAT!

        This one's a keeper!

Comments about Remington Style Curl Envy Ionic Rollers:

This is the 3rd set of hot rollers I've tried since I decided to go back to using hot rollers (again...lol!) The differences between all three sets makes keeping this one a no-brainer. I like that this only has two sizes. The other two sets has the teeny rollers that I would not need. This set seems economical. Also, I really wanted spaded, not flocked, rollers. This set is not flocked. I tried another set that had spaded rollers, and one that had flocked rollers. I prep my hair the same way, and have used each set twice. This one, hands down, did the best job. As I sit here typing this, it has been almost 10 hours later and I still have soft, sexy curls. Real curls, not just flat waves. These don't heat up very quick, and there's no indicator to tell when the rollers are hot. So I also plugged in another set that I know would take 10 minutes, and these were just about as hot. But Remington, add the indicators. Otherwise, thank you for another great product!

I was looking for something that was quick and easy to use....I'm not a girly girl....I was not sure how this product would work so I first tried it on my friend's hair since she's Asian and her hair is harder to curl. It worked great.

Comments about Remington Style Curl Envy Ionic Rollers:

This is really no-frills. You plug it in, it takes forever to warm up so go do something else for a while, you start putting them in your hair. There's those weird little hooked U-shaped clips in pockets in the front. When you pull a roller off its peg base, the unit stops heating that peg, and to reheat just plop the curler back in again. If you want to do a steam curl, you can, but please be careful. It's probably best to spritz your hair and then put the curl into it, rather than putting steam into the unit.

Comments about Remington Style Curl Envy Ionic Rollers:

The size is perfect for my medium length hair. The only con is it takes them a while to warm up. I have to plug them in first thing so they're hot enough when I'm ready to roll. I had a minor issue with my order, but Customer Service was quick, efficient and easy to work with. I'm pleased with my purchase.

These are super compact but perfect. Plug them in and wait a few minutes. No steam, no clunky mess. Just a small brick. I have very long, fine and wavy hair, these really are my go to curlers. (I own 4 different sets of curlers). There is a holder for the small pins and a holder for the large pins. These pins are the normal old school pins; I have no issues with these curlers falling out. If you're on the ledge about buying, go for it! Totally worth the price, even if you just buy them for travel.

Comments about Remington Style Curl Envy Ionic Rollers:

They would work great, probably, if they would stay on. But the are heavy and have tiny nubs instead of teeth that keep them in. Totally ineffective.
