Comments about Stila Smudge Stick Waterproof Eyeliner:

I use pencil eyeliner and then wing it out with an eyeliner brush. Applied product then immediately tried to wing it out, but this product doesn't really move once you have applied it. Stayed on nicely throughout night though. But not what I'm looking for

Comments about Stila Smudge Stick Waterproof Eyeliner:

I use this as a liner although the woman sold it to me to use as a crease shadow and said just smudge it. I figured I'd use it as a liner to try it out. Goes on easy, nice color initially. It barely makes it through the day and fades. I wouldn't buy it again.

Love this liner. I like a smudged look, and this goes on very smoothly. I have once or twice gotten a tube that is too hard to use, but unfortunately the product had been in my drawer after buying for a while, so I didn't think I could return. All other times, the formulation was perfect. I do wish Trigger Fish was still available.

A few years back I had this Stila eyeliner, but had to return it because the product would not roll up, hence not being able to use the product. Has this issue been fixed?

                        Hi Marissa,

Our smudge stick eyeliners do require quite a few twists initially to propel out of the container. For a new eyeliner, I hold the top part stationary, and twist the base of the component about 15 times before I start to see the product propel upward. Once you have the component engaged, propelling the product up is a breeze.

                        I hope this helps :)

I have very oily lids. I have not used eyeliner for years because they end up under my eye. Or in the my outer eye crease. If I apply eyeshadow as eyeliner it even does it.
Will this product handle my oily eyelids? If not what do you suggest?

I wear contacts, one problem I have with eyeliners is that some brands smudge onto them, even if listed on the packaging it's safe for lens wearers. Is this eyeliner really good for people who wear contacts?
