Let it dry and THEN it won't smudge

Pros

  • Easy To Apply
  • Glides On Smoothly
  • Long-Lasting

Cons

  • Transfers to puffy upper lids before dry

Best Uses

Comments about Stila Smudge Stick Waterproof Eyeliner:

After applying the eye liner and walking around the house for a bit I re-checked the mirror before heading out the door to discover to my horror I had a straight line on my lid below my eyebrow. You need to give it a little time to dry before relaxing aging droopy upper lids or it will transfer to the upper lid that puffs over eyeliner.

Comments about Stila Smudge Stick Waterproof Eyeliner:

I wanted to like this so much because it's hard to find retractable pencils but it just doesn't stay on long. I also had trouble with it falling out of the pencil barrel and it's hard to get it back in. There is not much in the pencil either, esp considering the price. Disappointing.

Exchanged it for another one but all Stilla eyeliners were defected and had to buy Anastasia eyeliner instead. I was bummed abt it because I was waiting to try the Stilla liner.

            • Q:

I have very oily lids. I have not used eyeliner for years because they end up under my eye. Or in the my outer eye crease. If I apply eyeshadow as eyeliner it even does it.
Will this product handle my oily eyelids? If not what do you suggest?

I wear contacts, one problem I have with eyeliners is that some brands smudge onto them, even if listed on the packaging it's safe for lens wearers. Is this eyeliner really good for people who wear contacts?

Stila Cosmetics states that Smudgestick isn't best for contact lens wearers, as it can transfer onto contacts and leave residue.
