Comments about Stila Smudge Stick Waterproof Eyeliner:

I have a tendency to get allergy eyes where my eyes water frequently so it's important for me to have a product that stays put throughout the day. This liner is easy to use and really works! I love that it can be worn as a thin line by day or built-up to a thicker look for evening.

Comments about Stila Smudge Stick Waterproof Eyeliner:

I love Stila's Stay All Day eyeliner so when I saw this one go on sale I didn't hesitate to pick it up. I use it on my lower lash line and love that it's smudgable. Most so called waterproof pencils or crayons always end up smearing but not this one. It doesn't budge. Just like it's sister liquid eyeliner it stays on and true all day. This eyeliner probably won't give you a tight smooth upper Lash line because it's one of those that you turn to get more product, not sharpen so you'll never get a very sharp point. Plus the formula is very soft. I bought it only to smudge my lower lash line so I don't mind.

Comments about Stila Smudge Stick Waterproof Eyeliner:

I'm so disappointed. I used it only once and it was absolutely gorgeous, but I didn't have to mechanically sharpen it for the first use. I went to use it the next day and it wouldn't sharpen. I think everyone who uses mechanical liners has an experience with this with a cheap, drugstore liner, but for a high-end liner this is ridiculous! I tried every which way to get it to work, and eventually it did sharpen some, but then it wouldn't go back down again and it refused to go sharpen anymore either. This might not happen for everyone, but buyers, beware.

Comments about Stila Smudge Stick Waterproof Eyeliner:

As soon as I opened it and twisted it up for use it got stuck. Would not push the product up. Got a second one and have the opposite problem... It pushed up but would not retract back down so lost product when I put the top back on. Besides that major problem, the liner smudges extremely easily and goes on patchy.

I have very oily lids. I have not used eyeliner for years because they end up under my eye. Or in the my outer eye crease. If I apply eyeshadow as eyeliner it even does it.
Will this product handle my oily eyelids? If not what do you suggest?

I wear contacts, one problem I have with eyeliners is that some brands smudge onto them, even if listed on the packaging it's safe for lens wearers. Is this eyeliner really good for people who wear contacts?
