Comments about Stila Smudge Stick Waterproof Eyeliner:

This stick doesn't move up, it's not retractable, you can't sharpen it, I get that it's a smudge stick but how can you even smudge with someone that gets pushed down to the tip after you use it one time? I don't know what you're supposed to do with this thing!

Comments about Stila Smudge Stick Waterproof Eyeliner:

I bought this eyeliner last week in the dark green because it was on sale but once I opened it, I sighed in disappointment. I forgot that this was the same eyeliner I bought last summer, probably because it only lasted a few weeks before wouldn't twist up. I decided to try it out anyways less than a week later, it won't twist. I wear eyeliner once a week, MAYBE, so it's not like I'm running through the thing like crazy. I will return this eyeliner and can hopefully get one that has better design.
Other than the stick not twisting up, I'm happy with the product.

Comments about Stila Smudge Stick Waterproof Eyeliner:

I have tried many kinds of eyeliners but thought to give this a try from Ulta's spring sales. Admit that I only used it once (Plum color), but I am impressed It has a bit of sparkles, easy to apply and I was able to go over a thin line even though the tip is not as thin as some of the gel liners are. It went on pretty smoothly and really gave my eyes the much-needed pop. The sparkles in the liner seems to have helped without looking all glittering. The color faded a bit after many hours but looks good still, and no major smudges. I wish I had gotten more colors at the sale.

I have very oily lids. I have not used eyeliner for years because they end up under my eye. Or in the my outer eye crease. If I apply eyeshadow as eyeliner it even does it.
Will this product handle my oily eyelids? If not what do you suggest?

I wear contacts, one problem I have with eyeliners is that some brands smudge onto them, even if listed on the packaging it's safe for lens wearers. Is this eyeliner really good for people who wear contacts?
