Comments about Tarte The Slenderizer Bamboo Contouring Brush:

I really wanted to love this brush, but it just doesn't work for me. have watched tons of videos and no matter how carefully I blend, it rubs off my foundation and looks patchy. I only use high end brushes, and for the price it should not be so difficult.

Comments about Tarte The Slenderizer Bamboo Contouring Brush:

What a wonderful brush to use for multiple purposes. It's two brushes in one. I can't believe how soft the bristles are and in fact that was one of the main reasons I purchased it because it felt so good when it was used on me in the store. I also was in need of a good blush brush.

Since I've started using this brush, my contouring has improved for the better. I have tried this brush with cream and powders, and I thought it was better with cream. It's slightly too big to fit in my powder pallet, and the ends are too big for any fine detail. But overall, it is perfect for Blending the cheeks and forehead

                        A:

This brush is best for contouring since it has a domed end with compact bristles, ideal for tracing contouring shades along the angles of the face. The opposite angled end then blends the pigment seamlessly into skin for a contoured effect. The water foundation brush features fluffier bristles ideal for buffing on all over coverage. It is also doubled-ended and features a smaller blending side to buff liquid foundation formulas along smaller areas of the face, such as around the nose.

So I can use this brush to dip in a cream contour pallet and blend on my face? Or would I have to use a different brush to dip it in the pallet?

                        A:

This brush could work great for that, since it's for cream contouring formulas. We recommend dipping the domed side into the palette and the buffing it directly onto the face. You can then blend over any harsh lines using the angled side of the brush.
