Comments about Dermalogica Skin Smoothing Cream:

My face seems to be more moist, but if your skin is very dry, I'd go with the intensive moisture balance instead. This is not quite enough for me. I chose it based on reviews and ingredients.

Comments about Dermalogica Skin Smoothing Cream:

A friend beautician recommended this for me to use as a face cream. For my skin, it works out good, it is moistening, does not feel sticky and it is not thick, so blends well. I loved it during winter, but now when summer kicked in, it feels too sticky. But it worked great for winter. It is expensive, but worth every penny. I feel good that I am using something that is meant for the face. I was using a normal body lotion on my face, which caused lot of white heads to form. So I am glad I found this.

I have oily acne prone skin. I also have cystic acne and it was under control but not is coming back. I was told when I got a facial at Ulta to use this product at night. However, I recently started getting small white pimples mainly around my chin and a few on other parts of my lower face. This has been happening every morning for the last couple of days. I just don't know if it is the Dermalogica products I'm using or something else. Please advise. I use active moist, multi active toner and the ultra calming toner, dermal skin clay cleanser and the medibac cleanser, and at night the night brightening cream.

Thank you for your inquiry. If you use Pure Night and are getting breakouts, we recommend not using it and using Active Moist at night over Breakout Control. Pure Night is most likely too heavy for you if this keeps happening. Also we recommend exfoliating and using a masque regularly. Please include Charcoal Rescue Masque 2 times a week.

          • Q:

I used Active moist till last year then switched to a different product called Derma-e, very happy with that until I just diagnosed with lymphoma (Cancer of lymph nodes). Right after 1st chemotherapy my skin is drier.
I use Medibec Sebum clearing masque which I absolutely love it. Using Multivitamin mask, but seems like its not helping either. Medibec is still very effective.
I want to go back to Dermalogica moisturizer to get better results. Since skin is drier than before so Which one should I choose?? I don't know if Active Moist is going to work or not at this point.
Please help me choosing the right product,Active Moist or Skin Soothing Crème or better suggestions.

This is a good choice for mild or hormonal acne if your skin is combination or is suffering from dehydration. Use a pea size amount over toner morning and night. To address breakout you can incorporate some of our MediBac line in areas of concern.
