Comments about SheaMoisture Shea Butter Coffee Scrub:

So, I was having a rather rough day when I bought this. I got off work and my hubby, seeing how tired I was, acquiesced to my request of being taken to Ulta for a little pick-me-up splurge. I'm so glad I went in, because this scrub is simply amazing! Let me begin by saying that I LOVE the smell of coffee, and this scrub smells just like that moment you open a sealed container of freshly-ground coffee. It only has the tiniest after-scent (?) of flowers which I don't even mind because it plays well with my Blackcurrant Vanilla body wash. Once I had the shower all steamed up, I opened the container and grabbed a handful. Essentially, the consistency was like (very) slightly moist coffee grounds. This is pretty nice because scrubs are usually on the overly-wet side, and their efficacy is diminished. Not the case for this stuff. At all. It scrubbed really well and proved to be a nice all-over exfoliant--I can't stop touching my legs and arms! I have a feeling I could double-up and use this stuff in combination with my Cup o'Coffee face scrub from Lush. I'd definitely recommend that you use this in a shower unless you don't mind sitting in a bath tub full of hot coffee water.

Comments about SheaMoisture Shea Butter Coffee Scrub:

I have weird combination skin. Some parts are oily and some are dry. What it usually means is that I have to treat the oily/breakout skin and try as best I can to hydrate the rest so I'm not itchy all the time. As a result my abdomen is usually really patchy. I started using a lot of shea moisture products because they help. This one clears up my abdomen for a few days at a time (which is basically a miracle) and I don't need a ton of additional moisturizer to go with it. Just this and a shea moisture lotion when I get out of the shower and I'm good all day. That, compared with having to use eczema cream just for temporary relief, makes this one of the best discoveries I've made in years.

Very messy, but works like a dream...exfoliates and moisturizes! My suggestion would be to use in the shower...easier to rinse clean.

Comments about SheaMoisture Shea Butter Coffee Scrub:

I loved it the first time I used it, I used an exfoliating brush to move the coffee grinds over my body. It leaves my skin soft and smooth to the touch. My mistake was taking a shower with it however. The coffee scrub would fly EVERYWHERE. I recommend taking a bath with this and make sure you use a little spoon or something to get a good amount out of the container since it's packed in there pretty good.

Yes you can. However, the face is more sensitive than the rest of the body, so be sure to be gentle.
