Unexpected love!

By Charityd93

Comments about Too Faced Shadow Insurance Anti-Crease Eyeshadow Primer:

I bought this from one of the 21 days of Beauty sales just because.... I used it and really didn't give it another thought until I was ready to take my makeup off that night & realized it looked as good as it did when I applied it. The next day I tried it again with another eyeshadow palette to see if it was truly the primer & YES it is indeed. I have used it every day since & will continue to buy this!

Comments about Too Faced Shadow Insurance Anti-Crease Eyeshadow Primer:

I have only ever used primer potion but decided to give this a shot when it was 50% off in the 21 days of beauty. I am so glad I did!! I find it makes my shadows look super pigmented, does not crease, and lasts all day. I will definitely repurchase this when I run out.

Comments about Too Faced Shadow Insurance Anti-Crease Eyeshadow Primer:

This has got to be, dare I say it? The worst primer ever!!! I tried my best liking this eyeshadow primer because every person was just raving about this primer, but it let me down. It's a horrible primer for matte shadows and it dried so patchy around my eyes. It makes my eye shadows so hard to blend, that I even have to put on a base shadow for my shadows to blend. Tonight was the final straw when I saw my black eyeshadow creasing on my lid. Heeeeeck no! I had it. I would never recommend this product to anyone.

Comments about Too Faced Shadow Insurance Anti-Crease Eyeshadow Primer:

The absolute best eye primer out there! Back when I first started wearing makeup, this was the primer I tried. At the time I thought it did an ok job, but since I didn't have a lot of makeup experience I didn't realize truly how awesome this stuff is. After I finished the tube I switched to the cheap stuff, hated it, and then tried the Urban Decay eye primer because I heard it was awesome. I have no idea why people like the UD primer so much, because for me it didn't work nearly as well as this one. Whenever I use this primer the eyeshadow color pops a lot more, it lasts longer, and it doesn't crease. If you think it's a little bit expensive, keep in mind that 1 tube lasts months even with daily use. You definitely get your money's worth. I wish I had never tried switching from this stuff, because I'm a customer for life. Huge fan of this. Highly recommend.

Comments about Too Faced Shadow Insurance Anti-Crease Eyeshadow Primer:

I received a sample of this with an order. My regular primer apparently maybe changed formulas as I could no longer wear it due to eye irritation when I purchased a new tube. Tried this primer sample and instantly in love. No eye irritation, and shadows are noticeably more vibrant. Eyeshadow application and blending are effortless. No creasing or fading all day in high heat and humidity. I ordered a full tube and have officially switched from the purple one to this.

Comments about Too Faced Shadow Insurance Anti-Crease Eyeshadow Primer:

I have super oily skin and acne. I have tried other eye primers, such as lancome, Lorac, urban decay. This is the best one. Lorac is a close second, because it leaves a gluey film on the tip of the tube after use. Too faced eye primer does not do that. After 12 hours, my eye shadow is still intact. Highly recommend.

I have overly dry eyelids, most primers I have tried just cling to all the dryness and accentuate it more (even though I always use a moisturizer on my lids prior to any makeup products). I currently use a "hydrating" eyeshadow primer but I find it just makes my eyelids oily and then the primer does not work! Does this primer work well with dry eyelids?
